This place got a new fence which makes it a lot smaller and you can‘t park at the lake any more. Further, they don’t allow staying overnight any more unless you ask very friendly and pay 100npr. Very busy during the day and no toilets.

As mentioned, meticulous work, Marco and the team are excellent and really knowledgeable. Marco explained to us, every single thing he and the team were finding along the check, which is very welcoming and comforting. We understand our van much more and its behaviour thanks to them and their explanations!

Un ran lugar para acampar rusticamente, nosotros usamos agua y electricidad. Hay baños para hombres y mujeres con regadera y agua caliente. Atiende las necesidades por un precio que nos pareció justo (150 pesos diarios por persona). Seguramente regresaríamos.

Very friendly owner, gave us some free homemade bread (when we asked about the Tienda or lunch) when we arrived. We ended up with a private room (with 6 beds) for 50bob pp. Then 50bob for afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast. Food was pretty generous though we ended up getting the leftovers from all the tours which helped. Bit overlooked as there were 4/5 tour groups so a bit chaotic, but did eventually get seen to and amazingly had our own room. Overall felt very welcomed and looked after.

The Town of Cumberland closed this dump station permanently on April 8, 2024. This was an awesome site with great fresh water and easy access but the town’s treatment plant needs upgrading and as the dump site became more popular the last year or two with more people living in RVs they had no choice but to shut it down. A sign of the times!

First come-first served NPS site. All 6 sites were full when we arrived late afternoon. Ranger happened to be There and told us we could stay in an area between 2 and 3 that they intend on making a site at some point. Spacious sites, beautiful view of lake Powell and great hiking and sunset on the buttes behind campground. Could have stayed several days if not heading to Zion. No services but only $14; $7 with Sr NPS access pass.

I found a shower at the bar across the road. 2 soles for bathroom and shower. Showers and bathroom was closed this time of year.

Very friendly guy who speaks English. Sim Card and 15 GB for 11000 CFA. Took an hour until the card worked. Now the internet is not working, GB are still available. Closed on Sundays.

Just to confirm the other positive remarks. It’s a 15 minutes walk to the beach.

As mentioned, expensive but efficient. We had to bang on the gate a few times before somebody appeared so don’t be put off if it appears deserted.

I tried to have them partial full a bottle as we are shipping soon and so don’t need a full bottle but he said he can only do complete, I think because of no scale and gravity feed.

two superb caves to visit with the village guides. you must park at the indicated position, the villagers will come to see you to offer you a visit. we gave 100,000 FG for the two visits.

Do yourself a favour and drive down to the river. Take a right turn a few hundred meters before this place. A gravel track will lead you down. You can camp directly at the river and a little further there’s a place where you can swim. Nice and calm, we stayed 2 nights!

Parking for personnel only. This place should be closed, it's clearly impossible to stay there.

nice place to free camping, with 25feet rv. no problem to go.

Spent the night. Lots of traffic but was shaded from afternoon sun.

Best camping site in town. Very tidy and neat. Clean and well kept ablutions. Concrete stands each wil proper braai and 220V point. Communal netted braai boma. R200/p/'n

The park is lovely to hang out at during the evening, parked near the tennis courts as they had lights on to 10pm then moved to the street alongside the park. Washrooms seemed to stay open all night. Traffic was quiet on the street from 11pm to 7 am.
