Lovely spot run by the kindest man. WiFi, showers, toilet, restaurant and right on the beach and one of the surf breaks in the area

I stayed at this place mainly because it possible to pay here by card and I was low on cash. The facilities are okay, I camped so I don’t know about the room.

It is 25 or 30 soles per person for a room and 5 soles to camp.

The people are friendly, but for everything ‘extra’ you have to pay. Like warm shower 10 soles, toilet paper 3 soles, card transaction 5 soles and wifi you have pay per half hour.

I ate at the communal dinner for 17 soles. It was good but very small portions.

Breakfast was 13 soles, there was enough warm drinks but very little food. A couple of tiny crackers and an little omelet. It was little for Peruvian standards and definitely too little if you need to hike. The second breakfast I told them the food portions are very small. I could have more food and of course I had to pay extra.

They provide lunch to go, but after dinner and breakfast it seemed better to buy at the tienda close by.

Now called Primax the gas station has a lot of room for trucks packed in by a security guard who organizes the parking and asks for no money. Dinner for two at the restaurant was good and at 30,000 pesos for two was excellent value. There are toilets and cold showers on the property.

As described with a patty pottie for the workers. Far from I-81 but a little noisy. Many trucks going to the Exxon station. Good for one night.
Tel que décrit avec une toilette chimique pour les travailleurs. Eloigné de l’autoroute 81 mais quand même un peu bruyant. Il y a beaucoup de camions qui vont à la station essence et Burger King tout près. Bon pour une nuit.

This place is in the wrong location, but I'm not sure where it is!

Le camping ouvre du 1e mai au 1e septembre. Nous avons dormi dans le stationnement. Pas été dérangés.

Showers available just outside Zion National Park Entrance at Zion Canyon Village. Didn't try the showers but learned about them from a check-in for the campground. Asked about them at the Outfitters and they are in the basement of building, $4 for 5 minutes. Not sure if hot or warm. Adjacent to shuttle stop 1.

A great hotel in Bernal for overlanders. secure front gate that's locked at night so you can park your motorcycle or rigs in there. comfy room with private bathroom, hot water, WiFi and a fan.
walking distance into town.

It is basic, but clean and has what you need so a great option.

As decribed before. Clean, well lit, and everything worked as intended. 4.25 to hot wash all I needed and 1.00 to dry. Would recommend.

I got here right before they closed and saw other campervans, rvs in the lot. I also saw a lot of signs saying no overnight parking allowed. I was very confused, so I went in and spoke to a security guard. He said they do not allow overnight parking, but people keep doing it anyway. I said, " So, as long as they aren't setting up a camp and living here its, ok?" He said "Yeah, we let it slide as long as there are no issues". I feel wrong about staying at a place that specifically put up signs everywhere asking people not to. Im not sure why people just ignore them. Im adding photos of the signs and lot tonight.

this lodge is 2.5 km out of the town. I would it's okay place for a night.
the rooms are clean and okay size.
very simple. no TV, internet or hot water. food can be ordered and has a bar. place to park any normal size vehicles. I would suggest to ask someone at the village to call the lodge to be sure they have a room available.

located in a corridor opposite the bank. 5$ ATM fee for international card withdrawing $100 at the time. Machine gave out small notes. good alternative if Nedbank won't accept your card.

Driving northward from Maputo it got dark and we saw these fields. During the night no one disturbed us but there were a lot of mosquitoes. In the morning a lot of people came to work on the fields.

Fountain in a village alley. Non-potable. Adaptable hose for filling tanks. Good flow

Great spot next to the lake. Very natural and peaceful. You can easily observe several families of marmots.

did not ask permission (Giant is one of 9 tenants in the strip mall). did not see any signs. lot is flat and well lit at night. spent the night in my motorhome without incident. was the only one from 11PM until 5AM (garbage truck woke me). felt safe and would stay again. strong Verizon signal. no wi-fi.

overnight car park back facing Ashley store under trees to cover back side of car ,wifi good from Ashley,well lit another overnight car sleeper same area. woke up 5am dumpster driving nearby,some highway noise. well lit spot lots Ikea roomstogo .

Slept in the parking lot, but also a free campground here! Sandy beach 🌱 very quiet

Embassy has now moved. Updated to N 6.37369, E 2.41466. It’s temporarily in a small single story unmarked building with reflective glass at the crossroads. It will move to the big building opposite when it’s refurbished.

Visa for UK citizen. 65k and 15k super express (same day) processing, got receipts for both. The guy there was really friendly and spoke some English. Needed passport & copy, photo, was able to WhatsApp him my hotel booking which they printed there. Asked if I wanted it while I wait, as opposed to coming back in the afternoon. So threw in 5k extra which he gave to the person behind the counter who was doing it. Very easy and friendly encounter, took about an hour.

Levi was great - we had developed a hole in the power steering hose on our Landy driving the Binga road and limped to his shop. He had the exact hose and had it fitted within 30 minutes, gave us a great price and we were back on the road with some game drive recommendations for Vic Falls NP.

Looks like he deals with most of the game drive vehicles in the area; Toyota's, Land Rovers and everything in-between and also does vehicle restorations.

🇧🇷 Local tranquilo de se passar a noite, os guardas da ROMU deixam os carros deles aqui. Único local que encontramos que o estacionamento não é cobrado. Ficamos 2 semanas. Não tem energia, mas tem torneira de água na base da ROMU e Wi-Fi na bibliografia municipal que tem em frente ao estacionamento. A noite tem pouco iluminação, mas ainda assim nos pareceu seguro.

🇺🇸 Quiet place to spend the night, ROMU guards leave their cars here. The only place we found where parking is free. We stayed 2 weeks. There is no power, but there is a water tap at the ROMU base and Wi-Fi in the municipal library in front of the parking lot. There is a little lighting at night, but it still felt safe to us.

🇦🇷 Lugar tranquilo para pasar la noche, los guardias de la ROMU dejan aquí sus autos. El único lugar que encontramos donde el aparcamiento es gratuito. Nos quedamos 2 semanas. No hay luz, pero hay grifo de agua en la base de ROMU y wifi en la biblioteca municipal frente al estacionamiento. Hay un poco de iluminación por la noche, pero aún así nos pareció seguro.

We extended the custom paper for our motorcycles here for another 10 days. It was done in 10 minutes and we didn't have to pay anything.
