Excellent place to stop for a sandwich or some fries when cycling between Mendoza and San Juan! Super friendly and budget friendly! Also a good place to refill water

We left Saint-Louis quite late, and the tide was about to go up again, so we found this sweet spot in the pines, hidden from the beach passerby. It is literally 15 meters from the tree line, so you still get fresh air from the ocean.

Three local kids showed up while we were cooking dinner, and we had to hide in our camper to make them lose interest, otherwise very quiet spot.

This is the entry point to a wide open area surrounded by trees. Not visible from the road and big rig friendly. After checking the spot nearby "in your own bubble" that was completely unsuitable for any vehicle, we found this one. Nobody came to bother us and we had the most peaceful sleep in Liberia. We arrived right after sunset and we left at 9am. The path itself it is a few kms long but it's enough to drive 200m up the hill to have your privacy. Many flat spots available. It worked for us.

Free campground made for horse trailers but there were none here at the time. Sign posted, "Area closed to everyone except campers." Well maintained and clean vault toilets. Nice area.

Really good Lebanese restaurant in the Center of town. Family owned and the owner Said is extremely welcoming and helpful.

Also near Atlantique hotel that was reasonably priced.

Maquila is a coffee bar that also offers skate and surf lessons.

The perfect place for a break, have a skate on the ramp or to relax in between surf sessions. Expect delicious fresh coffee, local Kombucha, homemade sweets and good vibes overall. They also have a small shop with local artisanal products, surfing goods and art.

Francisco and Angelo are experts on the surf in Chile and more than willing to share tips and tricks.

They also offer accommodation in town and you can fill up your water (tank) if needed.

Opening hours:
Friday - Monday
13:00-20:00

Lovely, small, campsite. Requires reservations. Sherrif makes rounds to check things out. Could be not so great if you had terrible neighbors as the sites are right on top of each other. Luckily I was there on a slower weekend and everyone was pretty quiet and respectful.

Stayed a few nights out here and really liked it. Tanque rd is a good road to run/bike on. Big open spaces. Make sure to bring what you want because it takes effort to get to town.

I stayed there alone with no one else around, and no one bothered. The restrooms were still closed for the season, so I had to go to those near the other location.

Great area not far from Squamish. It rained the whole time we were here but the walks nearby are under tree cover so didn’t notice it too much. Lovely hot showers!

We preferred to take the track just before so that we could move away and not be visible from the road. Be careful however even if the soil seems hard to you it is full of water. Our Defender was completely stuck in the mud! Very beautiful and quiet region! No Claro signal.

Just Off I90 beside river
Some traffic noise but location is lower than the highway which reduces road noise
It is a very large area for suitable for big rigs
We were the only ones there. We were not disturbed by anyone.
It is actually the old highway road so asphalt mostly
Train line across the river back not sure how often they travel

Good bike shop, has various parts and good service. The guy is super friendly and speaks good English. He even let me borrow some tools to work on my bike in his yard while he went out for a bike ride!

Established, well maintained campground next to Niagara Falls with a lot of amenities. We stayed off season so a lot of them were not operating.

On a passé une nuit avant de retourner au parc par l’entrée Ouest. À 15 minutes de l’entrée.

Très grande place avec des dizaines de van mais c’est tellement grand que tu n’es pas proche de personne. Assez venteux par contre.

Pulled in 2am in a not very stealth camper van. Stayed until late morning. No one bothered us, used hotel bathroom inside just fine. Good spot for to sleep but I wouldn’t stayed for a long period of time.

So, I don't know what the actual legality of this spot is, BUT... we just stayed here along with a lot full of other campers (seriously, it was stacked from end to end with obvious camp rigs; RVs, rooftop tents, truck campers, vans, trailers, you name it), and didn't have any problems. Any signage is either non-existent or completely unreadable. Like 100% washed out and covered in stickers. Additionally, it was obvious that people were camping -- RVs with their slides out, generators running -- but no one bothered us, and no tickets were given. We arrived after dark and left by 7am, but we did really enjoy seeing the coast for sunrise! Again, I don't know the legality of parking here, so don't come at me, but we had no issues for a recent quick overnight. And it is a beautiful spot if you can get past the traffic noise.

Beautiful quiet dead-end street. You would not be able to turn around a trailer, unless it’s small. There is a driveway just before the end. You might be able to back in if you have a large trailer or RV and then back down the street a short distance. Really a great night sleep!
