Steep drive 4 miles up the mesa. 2 stations seperated by about 100 yrds. The 1st station dump was open, but the water was broken (disconnected hose, couldnt reach in the spring to fix it myself). The second station had both dump/tank wash and the fresh water working. Filled up water today.

Below stated all correct, the best and only place downtown Zacatecas for bigger vehicles.
Still 450P / night and 200P deposit for the shower key. Very clean, everything works and for the first time in many weeks a descent water pressure.
Stiff price but worth it for safe parking very close to the center, helpful and friendly staff.
Very quiet during the night

Came here cycling. Two persons.
Perfect hostal to sleep. It’s cheaper if you book on booking. We paid 34$ for two persons.
Clean room, wifi, hot shower, bathrooms.
There is a kitchen.
No problem to let the bike in the building in a safe place.
Nice view on the town.

Highly recommended.

Be warned, extortionate prices!
Also didn’t have many of things we needed, and we found it only opened after 6.
If coming from Chile, stock up in advance if possible.

Bel endroit pour une nuit. Parc adjacent. Le kiosque n’était pas encore ouvert à la mi-mai donc pas possible d’utiliser la station de vidange. Un peu de bruit causé par les camions qui laissent rouler leurs moteurs tout près…

Perfect place to spend the night on this long route. No one around, I parked behind the construction to block the view/noise of the road.

Overrated and overpriced. We went there for lunch, but everything was full with tourgroups or tables reserved for big groups. They offered us a small table in the back. Half of the meals on the menu were run out, also crocodile kebab, what we would have liked to eat, so we left.
Seems to have become a too touristic place living on tourgroups.
Just enjoy the few from nearby, we can not recommand this cafe for individual overlanders.

Just a friendly reminder this is a truck stop and that loud noise will be found at any truck stops.
But to be honest I didn’t find it to be overwhelming loud. And there’s plenty of BLM land around if this is an issue.
Ok this is a nice place the restaurant was average, has a RV dump and water. The price for fuel is probably the cheapest I seen in the area. Like I said this is a truck stop has all the usual stuff. Phone service is good.

Large, level parking lot by the sea. Free out of season. Unfortunately along the country road, but OK for one night. Small town with restaurants and supplies within walking distance.

Willy is so hospitable! Very good place to overnight on the long stretch between Zim and the coast of Moz.
We slept in a room in his house, which was very convenient since we wanted to leave early, and it was raining. We also used his kitchen to prepare dinner and ate together with Willy and his other guests (missionaries that were there for a month)
We did check out the campsite; it's opening next week (so to the admin; this place could be changed to an official campsite?); there is a toilet and shower now. Nice spot near the river.
There are no signs (yet), just follow the GPS, and you'll find it. If you come from Zim; the entrance road is a bit further than the large (school?) building you pass on the right.
