A great spot to stay the night. We stayed here last night on our drive north on the I5. We have a 29 foot travel trailer with a toddler and dog, it was perfect for us with space in the morning to walk around. We tried a rest area after grants pass and it was full so came here. So glad we did. Went to the restaurant in the morning and they gave my daughter free cookies ☺️

normal Walmart lot. really large but busy. restaurants n other businesses close by. 2 main roads so kinda noisy late evening. I asked the front lead inside where to park as other reviews said both sides. that's basically what it is. she said anywhere, but she usually sees rvs on the garden side, so I parked there. I drove around the lot but didn't see the sign mentioned in another review. not much parking lot traffic over here. 5 bars Verizon. well lit lot. I'd overnight here again if needed.

Great place to dump your holding tanks! Easy access, two separate lanes, non-potable water available. Shaded picnic table and trash cans located just across the dirt lot.

Lots of space. Nice trails and clean bathrooms. From what I can see it’s open 24 hours. Drinking water is available from a couple of places. We hear the train and road a little…windows are closed, though. Trucks do come through here, too. So far, we like this place!

That was a surprise to find here a restaurant with very good quality Russian and Ukrainian cuisines.
This place is decorated in mixed Soviet Union and Ucrainian styles and make us feel in Eastern Europe rather than South America.
The dishes was delicious: a huge select of traditional slavic and other soups, salads, pelmenys (dumplings) and many other. Also they served burgers, shawarma, asado, pollo, fish and local food, but we didn't tryed that.
Price was very reasonable and the host was friendly and his history was incredible.
We especially run into Paraguay to visit this place and didn't failed.
Warmly recommend!

stayed 3 nights right on the river site 12. Just spectacular. Highway noise during the day minimal and trucks in road opposite occasional. Pit toilets are super clean and don't smell. Still $18/night. We booked ahead. The two Rec sites to the west are similar at $15/night.

On Friday (I think also Saturday) extremely noisy. A lot of drunk people hanging around and listening music from their cars. Not recommended on weekends. Terrible.

Stuff is very friendly and toilets are clean.

This is the place to be! A few other RVs but nice and quiet. First stopped at the Golden Nugget but the noise was unbearable.

Storm on the mountains was a great sight as the sun went down.

quiet and level. Seaquake closes at 9pm on Fri and Sat. short walk to beach and vault toilet. we slept Friday night in the east side street of Seaquake and slept on the north side street of Seaquake on Saturday night. Saturday night there was another van and a pull-behind camper parking along the roads too.

Drove 2 hours on a heavy washboard road and saw no one. Arrived at this abandoned camp. Did not see any other traffic the entire day. It's pure boondocking. There are more than 4 structures. Streams are flowing from the mountains. I am sure we are the only camper within 50-mile radius.

This is an awesome spot to camp on the beach- unless you’re here during Alaskas dipnet season! Usually end of June until the first week of August for Kasilof. During that time everyone will be focused on dragging as many fish out of the water as possible and it’s a 24 hour fishery. Probably better luck at whiskey gulch or some of the pullouts on Kalifornsky road.

A very pleasant place with great staff.
I enjoyed their happy hour cocktails which actually are available all day.
10 US$ for 2 is a good deal on the mian street with views on the Plaza Central and Ferries terminal.
High quality seats and good Wifi

It’s alright. We typically shy away from parks but thought it would be a nice treat to have full hook ups tonight. Had hoped for laundry room as well. We didn’t get to do a late check in, about7pm, because there weren’t envelopes so will have to wait til they open to pay which isn’t really convenient. Pretty setting. Quiet.

Namibia -> South Africa
No CDP, US and German passports

When we entered Namibia from Angola we got a TIP. Since we stayed longer than 3 months we had to get a IM5.

Because of that exiting took a little longer.

At the Namibian border they checked our fridge for meat. They didn’t check it in SA.

At South African border my passport got stamped (normal) and my husband (USA) received a small stamp as a visa. He asked for 30 days and that’s what we also got on the new TIP (customs) which is free by the way.

Any question about TIP, IM5 and EX3 documents leave me a comment on instagram.

Also the woman at SA entry immigration was a tough one giving me and others big trouble. Try to be super nice ….. good luck and safe travels.
