Même si la dame de l’information touristique nous a dit que c’était interdit partout dans la ville, nous avons passé une très bonne nuit au IGA. Ça nous a permis aussi de faire une petite épicerie.

Stayed here before an early flight. With our vent fan running didn’t even hear the airplane noise. We parked behind the “Caliber Collision” building where other vans had already parked.

We found this place as we were looking for a guite place. It’s located near Nomad civilization Center. Right one the right side of the Nomad Centers fence there is a gravel road that lead to this place. The road is a bit sandy but we did it without 4wd and reached the beach with a standard sprinter. Enough wood to make a fire and relax.

Not possible to cross as foreigner with a Chilean car…

There’s a little pull off that goes up hill. Semi-high to high clearance recommended but if you don’t care about being exposed you don’t need to go up the hill

Nice place quiet at night but noisy early morning (5:00 ish)

Camping was 600 MTn for 2 persons in a roof tent (including electricity). There is a nice communal area with big, fully equipped kitchen and relatively good wifi. Dive prices are still the same as in the last comment. Shark dives ar Pinnacles are 3200 MTn with full gear. We would definitely recommend the place! Martin, who runs the accommodation is a really enthusiastic and helpful guy!

Nice place to stay. If you go a bit further down the lake, it gets way more quiet. The wifi didn't work when I was there...

Completely agree with everybody, it’s a gorgeous place! I spent one night here. The road is pretty rough nowadays though. You definitely need a 4x4 to come back up as the holes are fairly large.

Excellent spot in an old query that was build for street construction. Huge free space and many hidden places to stay for a night. Mostly flat, Good Tigo signal.

Près du community club se trouve un petit stationnement de 3-4 places ainsi que 3 douches et 2 toilettes.

La douche est ouverte jusqu'a 9h le soir mais j'ai pu la prendre à 22h30.

Le prix est de 1$ pour 3 mn et 2$ pour 6 mn. Une alarme se fait entendre à la moitié du temps.

J'ai pu dormir dans le petit stationnement. Deux personnes sont venus faire du ménage le lendemain matin vers 7h30 environ et ils ne sont pas venu me voir.

Beautiful spot to park for the night. Locals in and out during the day but all was quiet at night. Trains did not bother me, I used a sound machine to block out noise. Two bars of Verizon.

There is a height limit of 2.2 m now. Do not go down the narrow access road, it is hard to turn around there.

Camper spots are further inwards to the city. Don’t look to bad, but definitely not private.

For being within walking distance of the city (and on Canada Day no less!), this place is awesome. Large grassy / gravel lot … beautiful for city dwelling. And my dog can run and chase her ball.

Lugar muy tranquilo, pasamos una noche afuera de temporada pero no hay servicios. La gente de los quioscos son muy amables nos pasaron agua y electricidad para trabajar. Pero no hay canilla y la ducha al lado no se ve funcionando.

As described above; potable water from hand pump, clean(ish) toilet, aspens, privacy. Only one other person here. The sites are fairly overgrown with weeds.

$20 per night. Our opinion is that is too much. Fortunately we have a Senior Pass. At $10 it’s priced about right.

No tent pads.

The campsite is closed during the week but it's possible to park in front of and in the park, at least out of season. very calm and green.

I was at this place and everything is the same.

Super quiet, open lot. No issues (lots of fireflies!). Only one other car stopped for the night when we were here

Arrived in the middle of the night and stayed through mid morning the following day with no problems.

As a solo female traveler, I did not feel comfortable or safe staying here overnight even sleeping in my car. It is literally just a patch on the side of the road, very exposed. The area/neighborhood is very run down.

Water dispenser wasn’t working when I arrived. Might have been a bad day. Employees were all super nice and helpful.

Great spot behind visitor centre. Busy during the day but very quiet overnight. Bridge across lovely Mark Creek across the road.

Comfortable clean Hotel, 2P usd 65 per night. Parking Garage. No parkingspace nearby for motorhomes.
