Description

48 Campsites, each able to sleep 6 people, on the bank of river and up towards mountains behind. Access for all vehicles. Nice place, lots of shade from trees, each site has water, seating area, braai and electric point. Ablutions are nice and clean with hot showers (woman's ablution also has a hot-water bath). Pool in river for swimming in and a nice cool-off.
We paid R180 per campsite but this increased to R340 rand while we were here as it became peak time. All these prices are plus R60 rand per person per day conservation fees. We had a 'wild card' so didn't pay these.
Nice hiking trails from campsite, wood and ice available at reception and you can order fresh bread that is delivered to your camp.
Can get busy with families from Cape Town at weekend and holidays .

Latest Check-Ins

Excellent campsite with great ablutions. Regular price is good (R200), but during Peak Season it more than doubles (R480), which I found very expensive.
