dhorne.celine | very wide open field surrounded by nice hills. easy access for any vehicule by a multitude of paths - GPS point at the entry of one of them from the main road. place is used by locals too, lots of remains of bonfires, some trash but way less than in other spots in the region, because the open area is so vast. no water, some shade, a couple of horses when we were there. very nice at sunset! |

wvinyard | Next to state park (SP). Came to SP and it was full. After driving through it we found the lot and another van camper. We left early and had no issues. No signs against camping here. We used the toilet at the SP when we drove through and thought we would be paying for a spot. Nice restrooms, coin operated showers and laundry if you do get a spot there. |

remishoydaniel | Despite the name there is actually accommodation here, restaurant, bar where buses and trucks stop in between Mwanza, Arusha, Dodoma and Dar. However the friendly English speaking manager Laizer let me pitch my roof tent in the parking lot for 20,000/= shillings approximately 10 USD. There is obviously the restaurant where you can get dinner and breakfast and there are toilets facilities.
A decent place option if you’re in the road and need somewhere to stay before it gets dark. |

Camp Lovesick | We had dinner here and spent the evening until it got dark. Beautiful little quiet spot, but very clearly has a big sign saying NO Overnight Camping. So we drove off when it got dark and slept somewhere else. |

MexicoDrones | Great experience here just as OP and others have posted. Actually if you plan to use the thermal pools and/or Waterpark the pricing has been combined and is actually less expensive. 100 pesos per person for 5pm to 7pm next day (if you arrive early first day is 160pp SEE IMAGES). Also the bridge HAS BEEN BUILT. Geat stopover. Read other posts please, they are accurate with exception of my updates. |

MexicoDrones | Forgot to report that there is a strong 3g Telcel signal. You need to be within 20 feet of what looks like a small lamp hanging near the dining table in the store. Wifi is 50pesos 8 hours per device. Both are slow around 800kbps never over 1mbps. |

2kidsContent | This place is beautiful, absolutely stunning. Not big rig friendly, car or minivan. High Clearance 4x4 only. If you don’t have that there are plenty of spots along the gravel road to the top but the last 300 Yards is High Clearance Only. |
Bluff Overlook | 46.67024, -121.12127 | |
Overlanddiaries | The staff could be a bit more friendly but other than that this place is great. Hidden behind a sand dune this well organised caravan park as mention before has all you need for a comfortable stay |

autumnrae92 | 9-10-2020 security was impossible to find and no stores have the number. Waited over an hour and they were confused and said we could stay but had to park way in back and be gone by 6am. No one in the entire plaza knew anything. |
