Simple free place to stay. There is strong password free WiFi in the parking lot. Amazing. We didn’t ask if we could stay, just did it. No problems. It’s totally set up for RVs or vans. There are hook ups but I think they cost (didn’t use it). Casino has super clean bathrooms. Only issues is that camping parking spots are on the same side of building as employee parking which means they are coming and going at 3 am and again in the morning. We’d stay here again.

Great place to stay! Flat, pit toilets, garbage and recycling. Also far enough from the road you barely hear anything. Very busy though!

Nice place on the beach. Safe and secure. cold showers but nice on a hot day.

This is NOT a quiet campsite on the weekends: parties, music, drinking, and fun debauchery. if that's your thing, than great.

if it's not, you probably wouldn't like this place on a Friday or Saturday night.

This place closed abruptly last September. I had stayed here often before that, and even had permission the night they came by with two trucks at 2 AM, banged on the sides of the vans and said everyone out or get towed. Police have been called! It was a nice place to stay passing through before that, even though the signs are up like at every Walmart in Massachusetts.

Road is marked as private after the small bridge now, and you can't get to the shore anymore. Still possible to find bit of space on the roadside, between the bridge and the prohibiting sign

A hidden place on a mown meadow near the river.
Between 3 meter high corn fields is an 8 meter wide and kilometer long meadow area.
You cannot be seen from the road, but you can hear the long-distance traffic on this main European axis with trucks and trains very well and around the clock.
Approx. 2-4 trains per hour.
I am sensitive to noise and would no longer choose this place.

Parking in central Plovdiv is not free and you have to pay with SMS.
This here is the parking of the former cinema, so off-street and therefore not in the blue zone.
It’s shady and in walking distance to all sights. I parked here 3 days without problems.
I would even consider spending the night here, BUT the road is one of the main roads and has heavy traffic.
You can’t access the parking from the main road, check your GPS routing before activating it, you have to drive through the small roads to get there.

Run by Peter Mostet this machine shop can make simple parts as required. Peter repaired a jack for us by machining a new piston. Almost next door to Parays campsite.

Went through no problems. O
People in the hut seemed to be getting these pointless stamps and possibly paying a "fee" for them. I had my go pro monte on my chest especially for the occasion though and after asking why he wanted to give me a stamp he just hurried me out.
