To get to the guesthouse by vehicle do NOT use the coordinates of iOverlander as they are only suitable for pedestrians. :-)
The guesthouse is located at the coordinates, but the parking and
entry gate can only be reached with those coordinates of the other street corner:

Excelente ponto de apoio para viajantes. o valor é 10 reais por pessoa no inverno e 15 reais por pessoa no Verão. Banheiros grandes e limpos , apesar de não terem água quente , água potável e pontos de energia por todo o lugar . Estacionamento grande , acessível para qualquer motorhome independente do tamanho.

There is one sign that says "No Parking midnight 6am" it has been there a few long time. The other poster may not have noticed it. In my opinion it may be a gamble.

We didn't attempt to take our van along the last stretch of laneway to the pictured campsite by the river. It rained a lot last night and there were big mud holes where other vehicles had made their way out this morning. We chose a site overlooking the river where there was an existing firepit. The highway is very close, so lots of road noise. Good for one night though.

Quiet, was rainy, a few people in and out but nobody blinked at us (in a van, and there's another van parked too). Good spot for a night, nothing fancy. Latrine was clean and stocked with TP.

The road is clearly bumpy which makes it a bit long and tiering. No weird people today, and not busy at all (it’s 7pm and a Sunday night) and we’re 2 parties. The site itself is rocky and bumpy, it seems like everyone makes its own fire pit everywhere so its a bit dirty (like you don’t want to put your knees on the ground but no trash). 2 sites just by the lake and maybe 2-3 sites just behind but not far. The view is stunning (islands on the lake, view on mountains...) not so flat for a van but we made it ok. I think it would be tough for big RVs.
Worth the road if you have one of the two spots by the lake I guess ! :) enjoy

Gas station, general store, bakery/deli, truck stop, and casino all in one lot. They have unlimited showers for $7 a person or $10 a couple. They also have coin laundry for $1.25 wash/dry. Decent little place to stop at to wash up!

RV overnight parking allowed. One rv spot looked as if the motorhome was set up as a permanent residence. We parked away from rv spots on north side. Lots of highway noise.

Small spot at Kelsall Lake, a clear creek flowing in and the outflow is close. Gorgeous views in all directions. Can be windy or buggy. 4x4 and good clearance recommended! Take the access road north of the yellow gate to the gravel pit. Several spots along the way if you don't want to go all the way...

This appears to be a very new site. Currently only 2 sites completed but more are being added. Both sites have there own facilities, shower, toilet and scullery.
It is in the middle of the small town but seems very quiet and safe. The owner lives across the road. Access is therefore no problem.
It's a level gravel stand with some shade.
It cost R250 per night for a caravan and 2 adults.
