Good hotel, slightly pricey for Peruvian standards.

Nice quiet parking spot. Close to overhead train tracks but they were the quietest trains ever so not a bother at all. Houses nearby but lots of trees around so it's not like you are parked in their front yard. 10 mins from Walmart in town.

I would recommend vans and trucks to park at the big parking lot on the right directly after the payment booth. As soon as the sun sets it gets calm and we had a quiet night here. The road through the village is very narrow and incredibly busy in the afternoon, so best to avoid with your overland vehicle.

Perfect campsite; nice green lawn, great shelter with kitchen en bathroom (with very hot shower), nice views. If you have kids, a must stop to our opinion; our kids LOVED it! They helped in the garden, milked the cows, played with the dozens of guinea pigs, helped out with the chickens and the sheep, and did horseback riding every day. Camping is USD 10 pppn, they also have a very nice house that you can stay in for USD 20 pppn, kids half price. We could eat the veggies from the garden and drink the fresh milk. Highly recommended place.

Nice place, nice owner, WiFi and airtel connection not really good.
But nice project done here for the community and the orphan.
Electric not always working but plugs available at the site.
They did our landry for free…
120Kw pp.

Clean & well kept. Bathroom was fine. Signs say limit for cars is 4 hours, but I was not bothered. A little noisy but slept fine. There were a couple of vans, a couple of class c's, and a few cars that overnighted.

We were 5 and asked for 2 rooms 2 nights.
One matrimonial room 90S the night.
One room with 3 simples beds 120S thé night.
We could discuss the price a little due to the fact we took two nights.
Breakfast included (Coffee, tea, bread with butter and marmelade).
Very nice family. Everything was perfect.

Good place for 20 Bol pppn, includes use of the (dirty) kitchen and good wifi (not in the tent). Stayed two nights to visit Isla del Sol. If you’re travel by bike, note that you have to go up some stairs, to get to the place for tents.

Big campground at the riversite with very friendly host! Toilet and hot shower. The C-loop is a little bit more noisy because of the water from the dam, but nice
view. Would stay again!

possibility to pitch the tent next to this place. ground is level, very basic bathroom is available at the police station. if you don't mind the traffic passing by in 20 m or so, good place to stay (based on the amount of stickers here this place is used quite a bit by cyclists)

The only but nice BigRig-suitable spot near the river with its own bathing area between mango and banana trees. It goes very steeply downhill to the place, which can become very muddy when it rains. Quieter than the campground next door. From there, if you are in good shape, all the activities (Gruta, tunnel, La Tiroleza, river with great bathing pools, bathing pools on the slope) are within walking distance. Entrance fee 200 pesos per person/day, 30 pesos per vehicle/day. The friendly security guards check whether you have paid. The campsite does not cost extra. There are lots of garbage cans to dispose of garbage, which are also emptied regularly. Please help to keep the place clean.

Road Closed after 22 minute drive on gravel.
Made it up that far just fine in my Kia soul.
Camped outside of the gate that declared the road closed. Luckily no one knocked but we were at the bottom of someone’s driveway.

Rooms for 15k. Clean enough and plenty of food options around the area. Not too far from Makoko if you’re visiting. There’s a bar next door. It’s also got a gym and swimming pool

Stayed 2 nights. We left during the day to explore Santa Fe but came back because it was quiet and great views. Cars in and out to hike but we parked in the corner of the lot and weren’t bothered. No noise or lights at night & no facilities.

Just my two cents: It's a small dirt/grass parking lot with a lot of movement going on. The lagoon is smelly. Local youngsters use the wooden walkway to the monastery in the evenings to chill/drink/party.
I didn't want to stay there with my van, and I definitely wouldn't have in a tent. Looks to me as if times have changed. But yeah, technically I'm sure you could park there overnight.
