We are a family of 4 homesteading on 6 acres. We rent dry campsites for tents and rvs for $20/night and we also have firewood for sale. Each site has a marker and a firepit located at it.

There is a compost toilet available.

Large pull off area, no signs. Stayed 8pm-9am, no issues. Some road noise but white noise generator helped with that. Other parking area further north (on southbound side) gets morning sun for solar but also early hikers, 15 min trail walk to coffee shop. Great Verizon reception, guessing good for all carriers.

As described but there are no recent updates so I thought I'd mention this place has a new name I think. Now going by "Casa Romano".

Also they can park motos in the lobby. There's enough room inside for 2 or 3 full-size ADV bikes comfortably. It's a tight squeeze to get in but once inside plenty of room.

Price is still the same at $20 per night for a private room w/ double bed and private shower. Very comfy bed, very clean room. Best $20 hotel I've ever stayed at. It is not really hostel as there are no communal dorm rooms, but several family rooms and a shared kitchen.

Highly recommend, I found it the perfect spot to rest and prep for the Costa Rica border in the morning

Beautiful horse farm with RV hook ups, camping, trails… I just gave them a call before showing up, friendly family owned farm.

Cheap hotel for the area, no 4x4 needed to access. Pool, bar, cold showers, AC, I think some of the rooms are equipped with a kitchen. We payed $65 for a night.

They have room for tents and campers, so they may be amenable to that.

nice spot for several smaller vehicles. there are lots of pull out in north of Jenner. The one I stayed at the night before had so many vehicles. this one might have been better as it's a little bit smaller and relatively level. not really big enough for big rigs but possibly a truck and small trailer if there aren't other things park there already.

We spent one quiet Saturday night here. We did not go to the swimming pool. There was a police check point til late at night and they were there also early morning... Not a bad place for one night.

They don't allow larger cars to be parked there. Tried and had to leave. Just compact cars accepted!

just off the freeway, open, quiet, nobody around. 5 bars Verizon. I stopped early because it was getting dark. A little further down the road is the established camping area with many dispersed sites private and quiet. there are numerous nice pit toilets. The road is good. a little further down are trails leading to dinosaur trackways which are impressive.

Abandoned Cold war Athena missile testing site. Old asphalt road is deteriorating but easily possible by automobile. 3-4 bars Verizon.

We use this spot just for a little break . There is a little stream an the small parking lot and under big trees. if you have dogs, they can walk quietly around. we think that you could even spend the night. traffic at night should be little.

Great place to stop on the way to Asheville! Was not very crowded. Had no trouble fitting our 22-foot Class B. Plenty of space to walk the dog.

We stayed in the spot just up the road past the sign on the left. The first spot was too muddy for our 2WD Promaster so we didn't want to risk it. Barely 1 bar Verizon at the spot we are at. Such a quiet nights sleep here.. only had 1 car drive past us.

DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER!!!

I put it in a 5 gallon jug that was clear and the water was YELLOW / brown. Not potable. Smells like bleach, looks like pee.

Pulled into the Walmart about 10:15. Found RVs and other car campers toward the lawn and garden section. Well lit and quiet. No one disturbed us. Great sleep!

Dump station still exists. It’s unmarked & covered with a metal plate & rock and near the lone truck fuel pump, it also has water for a tank flush next to it.
