Quiet Country setting. Tent, Rv sites. They rent out baker style tents with what looked like Ac and heat? Showers, Bathrooms and Water/electric hook-ups.They will have sewer soon. River, wildlife. We were in a 2020 Grand Design 303 rls 5th wheel 32.5 ft long. We made it down to out space but we had to park across picnic area. They are doing a lot of improvements, so maybe down the road they can except bigger rv's. Don't let the long term are scare you away. This is a Great place. we left our stuff out while we went out and about for the entire day and everything was still there. Owner is very nice. Everyone was quiet and friendly.

Pulling into Cape Charles at 9 PM on a Tuesday night, it was clear something was off. I saw a total of two cars and both of them were police officers. It wasn't even twenty seconds until I pulled into here that a policer officer pulled in after me. He was really nice, but made it clear that this area does not allow overnight parking and he directed me to the Eastern Shore VA welcome center, which was 15 minutes away and I slept through the entire night!

This place is permanently closed.

Road fully blocked by locals on the 3s, not letting anyone through, not even motorcycles.

Needed a shower, but there was no place nearby. Usually rec centers have them if a town has one. So, I searched for the rec center in Winslow, Arizona, gave them a call and was pleasantly surprised to find that you can get a hot shower here for $.75. Now I’m clean and ready to get back on the road!

It was a great experience, the people were super friendly, and the facility was clean.

Market with vegetables and other usual stuff in West Africa like noodles, rice and tomato sauce. There was tomatoes, green peppers, onions, ... We also found tuna in a small shop. Not many options. We couldnt find any fruits there.

Stayed here for one night. Nice beach. After sunset all the people started leaving and by 9:30pm it was quiet. We were the only vehicle parked along the street that night. Everything closes down early, even the restaurants.

7 day visa on arrival not available. Nor is 15 day single entry. Only visa available is 15 day multi entry for 35k CFA.

Price increased to 50. We negotiated to 40 per person. Nice setting but not super quiet. Good for one night. Clean toilet and shower!

A few tips: do the pre-check in for Honduras before getting here. For flight #: 00. It will email you the PDF that you need to show to enter.
Still have to do COVID check in and show proof of vaccine. There is wi-fi at this station.
Get ready to wait in many lines. Started crossing at 10am and still waiting in line at 12:45. Should have brought the camp chairs.

Nice place right on the beach. Endless shells!!! Good for dogs. There’s a place to collect water in town, not for drinking. Saw sealions! Awesome sunsets. No service!

They are fairly strict on the 21 ft vehicle limit. We are a 26ft class c and they didn't kick us out but they asked us not to come back.
Free dump station and potable water for campers. 3 day camping limit.

Easy parking lot for van and big rig. Very safe, close from police station in a church parking lot. Walking distance to beach and dog beach. Down town Cocoa beach a very friendly beach community.

Super nice place with small bungalows for rent. Camping in your own tent costs since this year but 6000cfa for the night.

Really like this place. Stayed for two nights (edit: 3 nights) with no urge to leave. Very calm, pleasant, safe, quiet except for the rooster, so don't camp near the chicken coop.

Host makes good (free) coffee for everyone.

Options for sun or for shade. Full bars 4G on my Verizon phone through telcel.
Good spots to put out my starlink.

Friendly camp dogs that will follow you into town, hang out, and then walk with you back to camp. My dog is super friendly and well behaved, and in this spot it felt perfectly fine to just let him wander unattended and do his own thing (at least after he's pooped).

Lots of birds, horses mostly next door, but there was some fresh horse poop near my van this morning, so I guess they come through.

Showers included. Good, but I ran out of hot water pretty fast. Was OK because it was during the heat of the day.

Strongly recommend this spot.

The Blue Bird are rooms on the upstairs floor of a family house.

We are so happy we found out about Ramon and Malaine's home.

The upper floor is dedicated to the rental rooms.
We are staying in a cosy and comfortable room with a double bed and a fan.
We paid BZ$ 200 for the week for the two of us.

Rooms are also rented daily for BZ$ 45 /pers, add BZ$15 for an extra pers.

The entire space is kept clean, with a spacious kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and basic cooking utensils, even a toaster.

Wi-Fi is fairly stable.
The common bathroom has cold shower, it was just fine with the hot weather.

The house is located in a calm residential area, there may be noise with the neighbors dogs but it did not bother us.

A 5 minute drive to the Mayan ruins of Cahal Pech.

The downtown area is 10-15 mini e walk.
There are supermarkets just a couple minute walk away.

Laundromat washer and dryer, while you wait you can sit in the lounge, enjoy a coffee and use the Wifi (fast). They have three washer and 3 dryer clean and in good shape. You can park in front of the store they have 6 parking spaces. Washing cost 2$ for one machine and 2$ for dryer. Speak english and they have washing detergent. This place was a heaven sent!

Buy organge SIM card and data here. 600 CFA for the sim and the same data packages as Senegal (35GB is 25k CFA). Our sun from Senegal was still working, but everyone said it’s a different network so bought a new one to be safe. Not sure if opening times but we were here at 7pm

As the comments say, straight to the back where the sign says ‘not a dumping station’. There is a small hose attached to the spigot, long enough to get to a vehicle.

Stopped in today and had my 20lb US propane tanks filled. No adapter was necessary. I showed him the propane threads on the inside and he said no. I told him his fitting would fit because I tried out a Colombian regulator in it. So he tried and sure enough it worked as it’s supposed to. He filled them FULL.
