After/before crossing the border at Ibris, this might be a good place for a night. Easy to access, tidy, very calm and with mobile connection. No 4x4 needed, but ground clearance is a must.

Had a great stay here - would recommend as the base for exploring the bay as is very peaceful and set beautifully on the lake w a great little dock to look out over. The owner was very friendly and provided lots of great recommendations and offered a use of a canoe if we wanted to go out on the lake.
The camping was set back from the lake and set under some trees, clean ablutions, electricity and running water all available (10 usd pppn).
Strong wifi and coffee in the morning - both a definite plus.

Very safe at the night there is a security on the motorbike which going around, weekend is busy so if u not arriving very early you have to wait until 5PM to get the spot next to the restaurant!

As campsites and roads were very quiet around Main and the parks I came here without a booking. Reception staff were very nice and organised a spot for me 350pula for the night for one person. Lots of shade from big trees that was appreciated after a long drive. Reception told me that there was Leopards mating across the river from my Camp site the previous night!

A nice, clean, safe and free parking lot next to the Parque das Nações park. A little bit noise at night, but it’s safe and you can also run or practice exercises right on the morning.

Estacionamento limpo, seguro é gratuito ao lado do Parque das Nações. Um pouco barulhento à noite, mas é seguro e você pode aproveitar para correr ou praticar exercícios logo de manhã.

Belize to Guatemala:
It is as previosly described, just want to had some details.
To get the copy of the passport stamp, there's a small tienda just across the street from the office building that does it for 1Q. There are several tiendas around, this one is very small but easy to spot as the printer is close to the entrance.

We crossed on a Saturday noon so Banks were closed, there are 2 options for paying the TIP. If you don't want to walk to the town you can pay it at the same place you've got the copy early, they only take cash and ask for a 40Q commission (200Q in total). Another option, if you don't mind walking to the town, there's a farmacy, also mentioned on iOverlander. You walk about 500m, they charge a 5Q commission, if you pay with card there is an additional 5%fee (we payed with card a total of 173,25Q).

Quiet place to spend the night. There were other 3 vans next to us and another +20 in the area. It's windy all day and night long.

There are a ton of spots you could tent camp here. Just turn on the short gravel road that quickly ends and find somewhere you like. I think you can find many spots that are out of the wind. If you walk a short distance from the road you have a fantastic view of Torres del Paine as well!

Small wrecked ship very close to the beach, over the surface. Apparently a good place for kayaking. Makes for very cool pictures and the access to this point is a cool, unpaved road that even crossed a very shallow water stream. No 4x4 needed at all.

LTE reception from very close tower nearby enough to set maps and sent texts.

Irving is a wonderful guy, pays attention to all the details. His water is the cleanest water, yet he sells it pretty much the lowest price in this town (12 pesos per gallafón). He speaks excellent English too! He also has a long hose which is "food grade" that he went to the U.S. to buy just so that it's safer for overlanders. I highly recommend this place over any other water station!

Location is great! It’s a block from the melcon but right on the walking street with shops and restaurants. The campground is quite small and while they pack you in tight it doesn’t feel full at all. Most of the people camped are long termers. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are warm to hot. There is a bit of noise from the city but the camp itself is very quiet. Many palm trees offer shade but not enough sun in most spots to charge with fixed solar panels. $250mp/night

Honestly one of our least favourite spots. Far too close to the road for our liking to the point where the van shook whenever someone drove by too fast. We would have stayed at any other close area but most roads leading east out of the city were closed because of storms.

Campground in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly host, roosters, peacocks. You may have to ask to open water taps and bathrooms.

Unfortunately there is no direct way from the Monumento Valle del Encanto (as google suggests), you have to go back on 45 and come from the East. The back gate to the Monumento was not open.

We really enjoyed this place. The information had good depth and the pace could be adjusted to replay key point. (Did you know Shackleton ate the dogs!?). If you have an iPhone, bring an adapter or your own headphones. Or use theirs.
We ate the most tender, delicious lomo con champiñones up on top. Pricey but delicious. Overall a good way to spend a few hours indoors.

We came for a dip and were able to stay overnight for an extra 300pesos. Ask Abuela Carmen. Large parking lot, bathroom, outdoor showers, pic nic tables. Little bridge to get in, looks scary but was totally fine with a van/sprinter. Chickens around. She sells internet coupons, 45 pesos for 8h.
