Camping bem estruturado do Gustavo e seu pai Vô Cesar. O camping possui banheiro feminino e masculino, com chuveiros de agua quente e solar (muito bom). Possui uma piscina bem refrescante e tem pé-de-manga espalhados pelo local. O camping é grande, mas talvez fique um pouco apertado para barracas grandes quando estiver muito cheio. contudo, tem um campo de futebol que pode ser usado para colocar barracas, mas não é indicado em tempo de chuva.

O lugar possui restaurantes de comida caseira bem próximo, e tbm faz refeições encomendadas. Muitas cachoeiras e trilhas próximas, e o Gustavo oferece serviço de guia para elas.

Beautiful and peaceful spot with view on the see and fantastic huge white beach. Multiple spots available. Very accessible for our 4x4 Motorhome. We were alone 3 days in this paradies.

They wanted USD10 to sleep on a parking lot next to the noisy road. We. Moved forward and sleep in front of the Communal House of the Pachacutik community.

The Vergara city is very small town. The main square is very quiet and safe.

If you are looking for a place to sleep along this road between the border and Los Andes I recommend to stay here. Not that is it perfect (noisy!) but it doesn’t get any better. We checked several spots.

very nice place as described. two additions:
the potable water shown in OSM was dry when we came. we got some from an arroyo maybe 600m southwest of the camp place, on the road. looked clean but not a source either.

the cerro Faulkner walk indeed offers amazing views. our 2 1/2 yrs old kid walked the first 2kms, and from there you get nearly as much views as from the top. try it :-)

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Nicaragua (for a full review and to catch oír adventures follow our YouTube channel Chris and Tovah's Amazing Adventures). This was our favorite camp spot from Mexico to Nicaragua. We were able to park right down by the lake, the views were incredible. We were able to use the pool and the bathrooms and showers (cold but it was nice and refreshing) at the pool or we could use a hotel room for a hot shower. We had a campfire in the evenings and pretty much had the place to ours
ourselves. We paid 75 Q per person per night (at the hotel reception). There is drinking water at the hotel and electric plug ins at the pool house and on the tree by the lake. We plan to come back and stay for several weeks the next time we are in Guatemala. Thanks for the great stay.

Many pull outs along the road. Pay site with pit toilets about a 1/2 mile away. Good flat, great cell signal.

If you need a place with a bathroom, picnic table and a dump, this place works. Trains are running 50 yards away through out the night and mostly in the morning. not very quite.

Plenty of parking in this area. There were a few other vans parked. I pulled in at around 9 pm and there was a lot of noise from the restaurants. There is also a train that goes by and I parked on a Friday night so at around 3 am you could hear people setting up for the Saturday farmers market. I’d suggest parking along the water or in the parking lot by the Subway restaurant. No “no overnight parking” signs. ***not big rig friendly*** there was another parking lot a couple blocks down that could possibly fit a bigger rig.

Priscila nos atendeu e foi muito atenciosa. Ela é a irmã Michele são do as do estacionamento e pousada. Disponibilizam água, energia e internet. Tem tb a opção de utilização de banheiros no local. Espaço com vigia. Cuidem com a localização, pois tem 2 ruas com o mesmo nome no bairro. Sigam pelas coordenadas aqui do iOverlander.
