Super nice hostel incl. breakfast (small brekky but nice). Rooms are super big with private bathroom and electric heating as well as hot water, towels available. Proch and hammocks in front of room. 50'000clp for 2 persons incl. breakfast. Cycling parking in front of the room. Nice owner but no wifi only entel reception. Super clean place. Reservation can be made by WhatsApp, debito or credit cards accepted.

Antes, os motorhomes ficavam na pracinha central da cidade, onde tem uma igreja. Mas há pouco tempo a prefeitura proibiu motorhomes de ficarem lá, e mandaram eles ficarem próximo ao campo de futebol, junto à entrada do Centro Esportivo e Recreativo de Itaúnas.

Dormimos cerca de 7 noites lá, e foi absolutamente tranquilo! Alguns outros motorhomes também apareceram por aqui. É bem mais tranquilo do que ficar na pracinha, e a praça fica a menos de 5 minutos andando.

A prefeitura deixou com que a gente usasse o Centro Esportivo, então tivemos acesso à água, ducha, banheiro e tomadas. Não sei se eles vão continuar disponibilizando isso o tempo todo.

Mas se eles liberarem, vamos usar com muito respeito, sem abusar, para que eles não cortem essa enorme comodidade para quem está de motorhome.

Before, the motorhomes were in the central square of the city, where there is a church. But not long ago, the city government prohibited motorhomes from staying there, and ordered them to stay close to the soccer field, next to the entrance to the Itaúnas Sports and Recreation Center.

We slept about 7 nights there, and it was absolutely peaceful! Some other motorhomes also appeared here. It's much quieter than staying in the square, and the square is less than a 5-minute walk away.

The city hall allowed us to use the Sports Center, so we had access to water, shower, bathroom and sockets. I don't know if they're going to keep making that available all the time.

But if they release it, we must use it with great respect, without abusing it, so that they don't cut this huge convenience for those who are in a motorhome.

Very tasty curries, a lot of workers eat here I noticed. $8 for curry, huge rice, bread and a Pepsi

perfect place to grab a meal and a beer. they sell some groceries as well including frozen meat, pasta etc my chicken burger and tap beer were delicious

Passamos dois dias bem agradáveis. Camping muito bem estruturado com banheiros limpos água luz e hi-fi. R$35,00 pp

Passamos duas noites e dois dias na praia e acordamos com o lago cheio de flamingos.
É tranquilo, seguro e silencioso.
Como toda beira de água, tem alguns mosquitos
Não tem infraestrutura de água, eletricidade ou wi-fi

Nice place to stay, cheap (for been Chile) 7.000 chl per person per night. Clean, few bathrooms. The owner it's really Nice but the staff it's kind of rude. No pluggs. I stayed for 3 night, Cook everyday.

There is a darker area in the parking lot near the Safeway gas station. Spent a night here in our camper van with a Class A, a semi and 2 cars.

Finally a quiet camp spot on a Friday night. Several options for a site, but you would need a 4X4 for many of them because of the sand

Cyclists here. We spent one night at this spot and had a quiet night of sleep. Keep in mind that there’s houses around, so you’ll be absolutely visible but it’s very quiet. Nobody said anything when we were there as this seems to be a public access point to the river.

Once you cross the wooden bridge, just follow the dirt road for 700 meters. You’ll see a very well established sandy path down the river. We camped in the flat grassy spot by the rose hip bush. No sheep came to say hi tho :(:

Rolled into town the next morning but only coppec (bathrooms and WiFi!) was open at 9am.

Cracker Barrel off the highway. Surrounded by a couple of hotels and a chilis. well lit, clean, safe and quiet. Big parking lot in back with 5 RV spots and plenty of other parking. Store hours 7am-11pm with nice bathrooms.

Nothing fancy, but if it's raining outside like us, it's the perfect place to dry ! Second shower on the right have warm water. You have to cook with your own stove. We had like no interaction with the owner, barely a word, no smile, almost feeling like we were disturbing. But we were able to leave with dry clothes ! For cyclists: you will have to carry your bicycles down a lot of stairs to get there. 6000pp

we visited this Serpentarium and it was very interesting. the person who visits is passionate and answers all your questions. to visit to learn more about snakes. you can even touch it

very nice hike, amazing scenery all along and great view from the top. 2hrs up and down from the entrance of the canyon walking fast. there's two rock climbing moments during the first half of the hike so might not be for everyone.

200m off the road, with an amazing view of the rock called Faisal Finger, especially at sunset. Easy to reach also with 4x2, but ground clearance recommended. Very few traffic during the day, very quiet during the night. Weak STC mobile signal, but ok.

Pretty quiet night for a Walmart parking lot. we parked right next to the police security tower with several others and had no problems.

What an amazing camp site. After weeks travelling around Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe it was wonderful to have such wonderful amenities. Each site has a gas cooker, sink, toilet and shower. Also a shelter from the rain.

There's a little 'bar' with WiFi, honesty bar, glasses, sink. A good place to shelter from the rain.

Phone Gail for the gate code before arrival if possible. Signal at the gate is low but a few metres down the road you can get signal and call.

Plenty of mobile internet signal at the sites.

100% recommendation for this wonderful place.
