I found this place randomly.
There are currently (March 2023) building a small lodge and also a place for the local to chill out.

You’re next to the mangroves.
When tide is high you can swim in perfectly clear water.
When tide is low you can walk inside the mangroves to see birds in it.
Locals come to swim also.

There is a place to stay in the shadow.
You can ask for water from the well.

The owner is known as Mobinou. He speaks French and Portuguese.

Prices :
Double room - 7500 CFA (not ready yet)
Overlanders - 0 CFA if you buy drinks, coffee or things like this

(I spend 10 days with the boys when they were building the lodge and I felt like I was part of the family so PLEASE be respectful to them, I trust youu 😘)

To reach the place use Google Maps and not Maps.me
Coming from Buba you need to go down just after the turn. Follow the path and go to the right at the end.

I checked the place. Its great. Plenty of space. Toilets and a shower, very basic.
And the entrance you have a decent internet.
(Though I did not stay there because I decided to move on to another city)

still free was a mess, 3 old dump hoses on the ground and trash piled up. we only dumped a cassette toilet the way the equipment is parked a larger vehicle could have had issues if backing up is not your thing. but hey its free and they have a hose set up to rinse and clean.

Great spot! Solid T-Mobile. Awesome view of the mountains. Quiet. It was very windy the night we came here and I was kind of scared of a tree falling but we good. Pretty close off the road. Snow was no factor in the early bit of March. Close to snow bowl. Road definitely Rutty and Washboardy with some mud but we are in @the.Guss.bus and it handled it fine as long as you go slow. Will be back!

ATM that actually let me draw 10,000 pesos twice in a row. It is very hard to find ATMs in Argentina that will give you cash with a foreign card. There was a 1274 peso fee

We made it down here with a 30 ft. Bus, it was not comfortable and everything inside is now covered with dust, after 40 min Dirtroad, but it was worth it! It was so quit at night and we loved the surrounding…

Overnight parking in pup car park - check with bar staff first. Although not expected, worth popping in for a drink to show gratitude.
Peaceful night with no disturbances (stayed mid week).
Possible water point on jetty at nearby canal

Parked here overnight without a problem. Took a minute to find the facilities; they’re on the lower level of the main building. There are nice showers, but they don’t like non-truckers using them. Got grief for not having a CDL license. Still was able to pay and use it.

We sent WhatsApp messages to Matias days before we got there. Super fast and friendly responses.

12,000/person. We paid in USdollars as we didn't have enough pesos.

They have a very nice swimming pool, no hot showers though (because I think it's hot there anyway), grassy lawn, some shady places (only in the afternoon) and lots of fruit trees.

We missed the entrance as there was no sign. But the coordinates here is exactly where this camping is.

I attached a photo showing the outside of their campground.

Good Entel signal.

Traveling in our 40ft skoolie. Maybe not big rig friendly.

BLM land with dispersed camping available. The bigger lake has a little dock and boat launch. The smaller lake has a spot were you could launch a small boat but better for kayaks or canoes. Lots of trails to hike in the area. But be advised, there are a lot of ticks and rattlesnakes in the area during the warmer months. Road in is fine for pretty much any RV but very large coaches may have a little issue on the last curve into the camp area. A pit bathroom is available. We had zero cell coverage there, Verizon.

Place nearly impossible to find and when you take a wrong exit on this dirt road you can run into trouble as I nearly did when having drive backward on these “road” full of rubbish and stones. Once I found it, there no sighing, just a metal port they did not react to the banging on the door. Don’t go here

Update: my enjoyment of this area diminished by the day due to over crowding and road traffic. Moving out earlier than expected. Ok spot for a night or two while visiting the area or passing through.
