We spent a calm night in this gas station . You can park for free if you fuel. They charge 10 pesos per person for showers. It’s worth!!

This was a beautiful setting under a massive tree. While we were here, they trimmed some branches and raised the power line so that now 11 feet 9 inches clearance can pass because we are that tall! We didn't hike from here, just walked the road. Staff very friendly. Restaurant here but we didn't use it.

No cell signal. Large open parking lot. No parking signs posted. Very quiet at night.

We camped here for the night. There were 4 of us and they wanted to charge 500 pp but we paid 1500 total. You can also get a room for 1000 and probably negotiate breakfast. Happy Travels!

They weigh the laundry for you so you don’t overfill the machines. It’s 100 kwacha per load and 100 kwacha for the dryer. There is about 3 workers in there but they don’t touch your washing so after washing you have to come back to load the dryers.

These guys are the best! We needed a broken stabilizer welded, oil and filter change and also some work at the front bumper and more. We just showed up in the evening, they asked us to come in first thing next morning and worked on our camper all day. Couldn’t finish because they had work for other clients, of course, asked us to come in the following morning and finished everything. Really nice staff, and the cleanest and best-organized car workshop we have seen in Argentina. Highly recommended!

Might have been cheaper before but now just average prices. 154c. You’ll get cheaper diesel in Nova Scotia 136c.

Stuck between elephants on the way to the camp, river crossing needed about knee deep this time of the year.

Nice lookout over the river with crocodiles and hippo, lots of birds and elephants in the neighborhood.

We heard lion far away at night. Not much other game at the campsite.

Sporadic working econet 3G near the big tree (fast enough for basic internet).

Take the piste until the beach. Don't go on the right side (Black wood door), take the left and you arrive at this simple place. You can stay here for the day for 1000 cfa/p or sleeping here for 2000cfa/p. Basics toilets and shower with the water of the see... better to bring your own clean water ! There is a tent décathlon that you can rent. The place is on the beautiful beach, really quiet. We enjoyed it.

great spot! close to the city centre - an easy 20ish minute walk down the hill and then through the tunnel, or about 40-50 pesos by Uber/cab. we would usually walk in, and then Uber back. if you have difficulty walking on uneven cobblestones, you might want to take a lift both ways.

we were the only RV there, but there were locals coming and going using it as a parking lot. the toilets were clean. as others have said, there was an almost comical number of dogs barking - sound really echoes around these hills! we sleep with the fan on at night though, so it didn't bother us in the slightest.

there didn't seem to be anyone working there or managing the place during our 2 nights there - maybe the owners were away since it's low season? we felt a bit weird just plopping ourselves down in the lot, but nobody told us to leave!

well stocked supermarket and ATM (Standard Bank) in front of the door. you can find almost everything here from meat to veggies (not the very best quality but ok), soap etc. There is also a nice bakery inside. very friendly and helpful staff. we were also able to pay with ApplePay.

Missing something? Well stocked supermarkt with good variety of fresh fruits and veggies, bakery and self-made biltong. ATM in front of the supermarket.

This park has certainly seen better days. Sure, they spend a lot of time and resources on maintaining the grounds, ball fields and pool areas and it's very beautiful. But the "free laundry" consists of one old washer and dryer for the whole park. Many of the bathrooms/showers do not work and the wifi is spotty. Couple that with the issues the town seems to have with frequent power and water outages and the time of year we visited being about the most miserable weather (April & May) and really thick smoke in the whole lake area on top of that (I learned this is common this time of the year) and we have decided to move on after a month here.

As stated, park in the WM portion of the lot. Parked in front of the store but as close to the road as possible. Two campers also overnighting. Not bothered, quiet night.

Stayed one night, woke up at 2130 to someone knocking on my door, didn’t bother answering and they left after not long and didn’t come back. Lots of crappy loud cars revving around the lot and you could hear everything driving by pretty loudly. I used leveling blocks. Verizon cell service wasn’t bad, loaded videos and music quickly. After last night I think it’s worth it to just drive to the east end spot. There are Porto John’s on the side closest to the spot next to Safeway.

As described. 2 stations for potable water and 2 dumping stations.

No Overnight Parking

Stayed one night. Only ones here. We stayed right when you enter which is off the side road. There's another road going in further but it was 10pm when we arrived and we weren't sure where it went or if it was bumpy. Slept here with out trailer. No firepits but I'm sure you could have one no problem. In the morning I walked a bit up that road that goes in further. It looked a little bumpy for our trailer but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. Nice and quite. Can hear some cars I the morning on sideroad but we heard nothing from the highway! Recommend for a night !

small paved parking area at the top of tombstone Pass. You need a permit between November 1st and April 30th for sno park parking, But during the spring and summer, it's a nice little pull out to take a break or stay overnight. pit toilets were clean and I was the only one here. traffic was very light at night, busy in the morning, but non-intrusive. relatively level. I put out one leveling block. zero cell phone service for Verizon, But I was coming from the east going west and there was a signal about three or four miles back.

150 ppp . Nice and clean toilets and shower. You can go in the lagoon wich is 30 feet far from the parking where vans 23 feet long max can stay. Not a lot of places to park.
Olga, the owner is very helpful and friendly. We also had access to the kitchen. It feels like a hostel.

We filled the fixed tank of our Canadian camper without any problem. They have the fittings that match
