They fill integrated tanks too. Easy access off the highway and pumps were accessible. Around 20-25q per gallon.

Great local restaurant besides a gas station. Buck combo is excellent. Everyday of the week it’s a different option. 10Usd. Exit 55 heading towards Minneapolis.

They got a small ramp here, which can lift half of a vehicle and then they can wash it underneath, if you've been in the salt pans. However, they charge 30,000 CLP just for that! A normal outside wash costs an extra 15,000 CLP.

Very nice winery with a beautiful estate and a superb view to the Peña de Benal. They focus on dry wines, not the typical sweet stuff you'll find at other wineries in the area. Different tour and tasting options (in spanish or english and with snacks), absolutely worth the visit. Our favourite wines in Mexico so far. If you like wine, don't miss it!

Nice flat place, also for van. Asked locals if I can stay and they are good of course 😁. A bit noisy from a road above (if you are in tent), donkeys, cocks and dogs, but that's Morocco.

Excellent grocery shop to buy cheeses, quark, bread and other stuff

Had lunch there today, a large, tasty buffet, presented in a rustic style. All you can eat for 35 Real or 60 Real per kilogram. A colorful parrot serves as a mascot. A perfect stop to have lunch in beautiful surroundings.

Miguel is very friendly and helpful! He saved us after searching for hours every workshop in San Pedro. Nobody had a welding machine! Miguel has a small one and he was able to weld our broken rack.

10,000 COP per night. Very lovely lady and her family running. My rig is 2.25m tall / roughly 7 feet 4 inches and the roof is maybe 4-5 feet taller than my rig

Big parking lot with many places near garden center. Not so quiet because there is a factory down the hill making a kind of continous dull noise and of course there are still rude big RV with generators late at night…
Ok for one night

A great spot, with a great view and a portajohn. Large enough for a van or car to stay the night. What a view. Train can be heard but it wasn’t bad. Overall an excellent spot

The road is passable for Big Rigs, but the problem is that there are very few places to park. For example, there is no possibility to stop and visit Pisco village. Suggest parking in Vicuna and take numerous small buses to visit the valley.

About the only place we could find to camp overnight ina Big Rig. Very peaceful evening. Five stars.

We parked up here intending to stay the night. But we were worried about rock falls and moved on.

With a reservation to visit the observatory the next morning, we asked and were granted permission to overnight inside the security gate and beside the guard house. Super convenient as the guided tour commences here at 9am by bus to the observatory.

First location after Cochabamba who had gasoline + sells to foreigners in a jerry for 5 to 7 bol / liter (my boyfriend got it for 5 for me 7 so send a guy :))

This site is now closed. The access road is blocked and signed with No Vehicles.

Fee is now $20. Still not widely used but has new vault toilets.

$15 fee per night. Didn't stay here but it looked lovely and there were only a few campers and most of the sites were available.

We booked for a Friday morning. The group is asked to meet at this entry gate at 9am. From here a bus takes you up to the Observato
ry. It takes about an hour. Take warm clothes, the inside of the observatory is kept at nighttime tempera.tures. Our tour was mainly in Spanish with some Englush. We arrived back at the guard house at about 12:30. We enjoyed our tour.

Pas de panneau disant que l'eau est potable mais elle est claire et a bon goût. Pensez à avoir un tuyau sinon vous devrez faire des aller retour avec une bonbonne ou bouteille. La vidange des eaux également gratuite.

If you are stuck in this beautiful place you can sleep here safe! You can first check if you like it by using the banos for 1bol. They have a place behind the kind of hotel/restaurant where you can park safely with your car or van. Only rooftoptent no ground tent. There are also showers, we didnt use. There must be wifi but didnt use. Its just 10 bol for a car to camp here!! Really cheap! But basic ofcourse. But more safe then wildcamp here.

Perfect pizza as you wouldn't dare to dream to find in Argentina. Great fluffy dough on the side, thin and delicious in the middle with fresh and excellent quality product on top.
