Après une longue nous nous sommes arrêtés pour passer la nuit. Nous avons était surpris de l'endroit. Il y a la possibilité de faire un feu mais également de posé 1 ou 2 tentes a l'intérieur a l'abris du vent! Nous étions en van et nous l'avons garer derrière se qui a nous a bien protégé du vent également ! Agréable nuit sans beaucoup de bruit provenant de la route.
Je recommande !

Honnêtement c'est un très bon spot pour la nuit. Abrité du vent il y a même une petit cabane où il est possible de faire un feu ou comme nous un barbecue. La maison est abandonnée. Pas possible de la loupé sur la route c'est la seule maison! ahah

A few fire pots of the road. The level one is the one nearest the road however. Put up the roof top tent.

Hotel with large flat car park beside property which was little used by guests. Follow the signs for blue mountain cottages (past first car park which has low wires). Bit of a random hotel, we did stay in room initially but then moved back into van and they were happy enough for us to stay on.

This is a great place. Is Freee!

Very nice beach camp spot for a Dubai stay. Kind and welcoming locals (who camp here with their huge campers) and the beach is nice calm

Nice small Family onsen 1400¥ for two person (one 800) old but clean, only walk Ins, there is also a rest area with tv and some drinks, open from 12:30

This is one of a number of camping spots along the ocean. Ask for permission to camp at the coastguard station before turning into the road. They told us we were supposed to get a permit in town, but waived it and asked us to camp within 2 km of the station.

It's a official Road Tax!

As I am just passing through and not staying in the village nor visiting the tribes and follow a public road I did not pay this fee and drove past, nobody stopped me.

Bar & restaurant next to Paris Lodge, popular with locals during the weekend. Good food and reasonable prices. We had their chicken (stewed with tomato and spinach) and rice, as well as beef shish kebab and chips for TZS13500.

Still 15000TZS per room. Clean room and bathroom, hot shower. We arrived on Sat night so had to bear with the loud music from the bars on both sides of the lodge. The lady receptionist was a little cold at the beginning but she warmed up eventually.

Bottling plant. We were able to refill our drinking water containers and car water tank.

With standard threads for hose. Some garbage bins next to it. head to the top of the gravel road for a picnic spot and fire pitt that you can camp overnight.

Absolutely brilliant little hotel for stop overs. The owner speaks excellent English and she is so incredibly friendly.
There's safe parking at the rear for cars and motorbikes.
The rooms are 50,000 KIP for a fan room or 70,000 for Aircon.
They're very clean and come with private bathrooms and hot showers and double beds. And fast WiFi!
There's also an excellent little cafe 100m down the road that I've also put on iOverlander.

After a quick crossing into Bosnia from Croatia, stop at the last building on the right. Closed on Sundays but I was able to get the guys number. He seems to reply to texts or on Viber. He's agreed to come down to the office on Sunday if I pay for his fuel. As far as I understand he's open Mon - Sat.

One of the better tyre workshops in town. Good range of tyres available.

Triangle pond provides good shelter from wind and walkers. Footpath to the road and the pub. A stile to be crossed when leaving the road, which can be a minor phaff with a bike.

We happened to pass by out of the opening hours (9-19h) and tried to go anyway. It was not possible, to start the trail you need to cross a bridge which is closed by a big fence (added a picture).

A great place to spend the night safely, bathroom cold water, but it was very hot so we had no major problems. Restaurant with very good food. Power point if you need it.

Um ótimo lugar para passar a noite em segurança, com água fria no banheiro, mas como estava muito quente, não tivemos grandes problemas. Restaurante com muito boa comida. Energia se você precisar.

Marjane is a big supermarket with everything in there with fresh fruit and veggies. Also meat, chicken and for all your bulk buy. Really wurth it if you are heading anywhere for some time and you have to stock up. Large parking area also for big Overland trucks. There are quiet some big shops around. Marjane is open from 0830-2200hr but with Ramadan it’s open from 1000-0000hr. Unfortunally no booze for sale.

- Mirrador Belvedere (1,5km, 25 min one way, easy)
- Cerro Belvedere (4km, 2-3 hours one way, 2km easy, 2km very steep)
- Waterfall (different paths possible, easy)

nous avons pas les mêmes notions sur ce qui est un camping. personne pour nous accueillir. code du cadenas 2020, pas de wifi, pas de gas, pas de papier toilette, pas de porte ou rideau de douche, grosse route juste à cote en descende donc tous les camions pétaradant et ça toute la nuit.

Perú —> Bolivia
Arrived just after 2 tour busses at 18:00 (19:00 Bolivian time). Took us 40 min on Peruvian side, because of wait, processing at migration and Aduana together 5 min. Bolivian side was empty and processing of migration and aduana took about 10 min (without preregistration in Internet) - very friendly and helpful border staff even just before closing. Before entering Bolivia, police wanted copy of TIP and registration in book. Police man wanted money for it. We didn‘t have Bs yet and thus asked if this is obligatory. No, it‘s not. So after 10 min of forth and back we got license and papers back without paying. Incredible corruption scam right at border - don’t pay anything!

The adress is not right anymore. Now it’s in Huito street, next to plaza de la victoria, in a very not pleasant neighborhood. The hostel is dirty, the rooms, the bathrooms, everything, the walls are covered of black stains. Some windows are broken, so we could smell the gaz of the police during the heavy demonstrations on plaza de la Victoria. Moreover, it is very noisy, we had a guy screaming all night long in the bedroom next to ours, and no one told him to shut up.. But the owner is nice, and it’s very cheap, we paid 14 000 clp for two, for a private room with a double bed. And shower is hot. But still doesn’t worth it, I really do not recommend. There is a parking next to the hostel, it’s 5000 clp for the night , and approx 7000 for the day.
