Greetings From the World

Few hundred meters away from the trees where camping is not allowed (although we crossed few campers there), we continued the trail and found a flat spot good for us but there are hundred of options. Nothing special except the quietness and nice landscape. Exposed to the wind but for us it was calm.
Conviennent to spend the night close to the glacier park entrance.

road is now fine. Probably really depends if the ripio machine had just passed. we only had a sandy patch (4×4 advisable) for the rest it was fine, could drive around 60/80km/h. Campingspot was nice with views on salinas (far away) and mountains with a little bit of snow.

southside of 52 to San Antonio was fine and passable. we had one sandy part, maybe you can go around (we had 4x4). roadconditions depend on time of year and te ripio machine!

For bicycle it is for free 🚴🏽‍♂️

They told us that is 1500fc for motorbike and 2500fc for 4x4 but we are not sure it is true...

We spent 3 days and 2 nights in this super quiet camping.
Plenty of place to park in the shade for big rigs and to pitch a tent.
Grill, bench, tables, potable water, electricity and Wifi.
Nice beach with a lifeguard and a peer to fish. You can also rent kayak.
No music allowed, so it's super quiet.
450 pp if you stay the night and the whole day or 350 pp if you stay one night and leave in the morning.
They can get a taxi for you to reach the city center if you need (or you can walk 45min just like us :)).
Highly recommended!

We stayed here 3 nights, was so happy and enjoying with Tom and marge. They are very friendly and help us a lot. They have hot show, and let us use the toilet in cabin , was very clean and nice . this is very good choice to stay outside national park. (If u stay inside park, u need a permit beforehand )

we only stopped for a shower. Bathrooms are not the cleanest, but the showers were actually nice. costs 2000 p.P. which we found ok considering that it's in a national park and some fuel station ask similar prices.

Pretty large campsite just off FS Road 971A in Tombigbee National Forest. Large enough for a group. About 50 feet off road. Entrance is a tad muddy, but not too bad. No traffic all night. Very quiet.

Schedules seem to change so better check online for the more up to date info.
That said, last comment by thomasbouddha is good and mostly accurate at the moment, thank you.

We left with Austral because
they had one more departure at 21h only that day we left and they still had room in it the same morning online (maybe they added it later? Or because it was at night? Anyway like I said worth checking online). No problem paying online.

All the other departures with either one company were not available (online) until in 3-4 days, more than a week for the through the fiord/cheaper one. We didn’t ask about the waiting list.

Also, we have a small van (Mistubishi L300, don’t know the length), we chose the “furgon” category and the price was the same as a car. We didn’t see where we should have putted the length (on the contrary to on the Somarco’s website).

Just so say that Autral is working again. See my comment on the “Somarco” icon for details.

We arrived here when the gates were being opened at 8am and hiked to the top and the bottom of the falls. It was incredible! Highly recommend. There is no entry fee, or overnight parking fee. We stayed here 1 night. The parking lot is surrounded by beautiful views. There are flush toilets and running water. Telcel phone service cuts in and out. Felt safe.

Stayed here for 2 nights waiting for a mechanic. Nice clean toilets, hot showers and working wifi. Is a bit noisy and dirty in the car park but have seen worse. But please take your rubbish with. Had 3 girls with a tent right next to us for 1 night but leaving quite a bit of trash behind. It can't get any better if you continue with the same bad pattern. I picked it all up and half a day later saw already new trash on the grass. Disappointing.

Quite a few sprinter-type Van's in parking lot. Some noise and brightness but to be expected for a 24 hour gas station. Grateful that it was available. Encourage all to respect site and minimize impact for sake of future travellers.

Just as described. A washboard-y road on the way in but my Sprinter van made it fine; found a sweet spot right next to a gurgling stream (Feb). Same kind of landscape as the NM CG but remote/ harder to access. pluses are stream-side site and privacy (no neighbors).

ok place for one night after or before border crossing, the flat grass areas are a bit further down from the street and either wet or full of guanaco feases. also because of the wind we decided to sleep in the car. The morning was beatiful though.

There is some grass for one or maybe two tents with moss so it's quite comfortable for a tent. Not really accessible by cars. Beautiful moon over the lake and plenty of firewood. Also quite clean, no trash was here please keep it like that

Big and fairly level Walmart parking lot, several other RVs here. Lots of room for our 30 ft motorhome.
