They took the laundry right out of the dryer and squeezed everything in a plastic bag - no folding and it was still a little bit wet so the laundry smells like old clothes. We could wash it again right away. Prices are still the same.

A charming haven for travelers. Alex, Bea and their son (8 years old) are very attentive and kind. We spent two very peaceful nights, with a beautiful view of the valley. We recommend it and will certainly return when passing through the region again. Thank you very much for having us.

Hotel with Bungalows and a Restaurant, we asked for camping in our truck for 1 night (around 5000CFA / car), but we were the first people asking.
Nice beachfront chairs and clean beach.

This place is still here and operational. Take the track from the main road (following the sign for Le Meme Coin pizzeria)
follow the sandy track around the pizza restaurant and it will be infront to your right slightly with parking opposite the small wooden fenced area.
People were friendly and allowed us to camp but also showed us a very small room. For the room they wanted 10000 cfa and offered to plug in a tiny fan
I declined and asked to camp and they said the same price, when I went to walk away they allowed me to negotiate and we agreed on 4000 cfa to camp with two motorcycles for multiple nights but the facilties are poor so I think we will only stay one night.
Bucket shower, and toilet is grim.

Very close to the beach and many options for eating and drinking in the local area. Also the staff here told us that if any problems with locals asking for money for visiting the beach to explain we were with them so they do try to look after you during your stay

Great parking lot with access to a nice washroom (although a 2 minute walk). $15 Canadian dollars for a Wednesday night. We booked it on the ski resort web site. Easy access to a lift so you can keep your rig parked.

Stayed one night Wednesday, it was so packed with RVs big rigs, trailers, vans and car campers that it looked like a campground. I’m grateful for old loyal Cracker but I hope it doesn’t get taken away. I left very early to vacate parking spot for the customers ( and I bought some to go breakfast to thank for the stay, although not needed).

Truck stop and store with large parking area in back. Signs in front say: “No Overnight Parking” but there are 25-30 18 wheelers and a few campers in back. Use Exit #140 off I-40.

we found the view from the photo „el chorrera“ best camp ever- idk why is the entry on the gated other side but this one here is nice, available and calm- without any kind of adventure except you come from the cascada (Rio Frio) side… than it is carnage

It is an excellent place to spend the night and rest. Next to the parking lot, across the street there is a bar that sometimes plays music until late, try not to stay close. Otherwise it's great! Good bathrooms, wifi and water. The gas station's kiosk has ready-made sandwiches and empanadas at a great price!

Western Union “Blokker NV”. If you need cash USD (going to Venezuela? ;-) ), this might be a good option. You can transfer money from your credit card and get a cash withdrawel in USD. They are (mostly) able to process large amounts. We paid a WU fee of 3,9$ and got a good exchange rate. Might also be interesting if you need large amounts of SRD- instead of the 4000SRD limit at the atm’s. Sometimes busy with a bit of a queue

Still the same issue, part of the Troncal de la Sierra is close (it said only small vehicles can pass, but we didn't try it). If you try going through Pueblo Viejo, they are still trying to ask for money with the rope (they were doing it to everyone), but we just pass through with no interaction at all

We stayed here 2 nights and then 1 night after we came back from cayes. We asked the manager after we grabbed lunch if we could stay and he said no problem. They were all so nice, the waitresses and the security guard. Felt safe. We did eat every day while we stayed there, only lunch or dinner. The chicken breast was delish and it was so much, we always had leftover for dinner or next day. Not too expensive either.

We left our van there for 6 nights and 7 days. No issues. I asked the security guard (Giovanni, super nice guy!) if it was okay to leave our van and he assured me that it was going to be safe. I told him I had cameras and a loud alarm system anyways in case anyone tried to break in. I grabbed his number to text him while we were away. But no issues. Van intact when we came back. 10/10 rec

Super nice guy! Helped us get water. He said in the future he wants to set up a small rv park there. But he’s not ready yet. He’s going to have a set up to be able to connect a hose and measure the amount of gallon that are blowing through. In the meantime he was able to find a hack to make it work for us, a bit slow but not too bad!

50 soles for a matrimonial with private bathroom. Big secure garage, you could fit a car but there's height restriction. The room was clean but there was barely any water coming from the tap in the bathroom (we had to take a shower downstairs) and in the morning there was no water at all. WiFi works well. There's shops and a couple of restaurants in front of the building
