quiet park on a river. we parked near the boat ramp for one night and no one bothered us. close to the highway, but not too much road noise

Great laundromat! The owners were very nice, and spoke great English. We had two very large bags and they charged us $300/MXN (plus a duvet cover)

slowest border crossing ever. it took Ecuador 45 min to stamp our passport and 4hrs! for the tip. even though all our papers were in order, we had the Health form ready and copies of everything. Our van wasn't searched. Everything was free.

No game around just a lot a birds in the big bush nearby, where they met for their nights rest.

We were told that you have to get a printed visa in your passport if you stay in the country for more than 14 days. Everything went very easy. You give them your e-visa and the make a sticker for your passport. The sticker is free, parking at the airport costs 10.000.

We were stopped by the police when standing in a traffic jam. He asked for all our documents, put our documents in his pocket and asked for 1 million. We acted like we didn’t understand and he asked again for 150.000. We had no choice, so we paid…

Since 2023 the price for parking is 100.000 per night. You can make use of the shower for 30.000 per person. Very helpful owners! They can arrange the Ivory Coast visa and currency exchange.

I ended up past the parking lots about 1/4 mile. Quiet and flat spot. Easy to get to in my Promaster. Enough cell signal to work and watch a movie. Stayed 2 nights.

Showers are around $4.50 they are communal so be prepared to not have any privacy

Stayed here two seperate nights, not sure if this is the exact location but in the PLUZ just after the first hill there are multiple spots on the left side where you can camp. Was a nice spot with no amenities. Accessible in a 2wd van but we couldn’t make it up the next hill after this spot (that leads to better spots with views) would definitely need a 4wd for that but it was very icey

It is now a pay lot and overnight parking is not allowed. We parked in a quiet neighbourhood behind Home Depot for two nights with no trouble.

The spigot isnt easy to see but he is actualy there the guy at the store told me we could drink it and the gas price was lower than most of the other places round without water

Red brick building in this lovely little hill town. We are three cyclists and got a four bed room for 500MX. If the old man that runs it isn’t around, ask in the nearest shop.

Very welcoming! Nice people at reception. We paid 180pesos per person for 2 = 360 pesos. Nice clean and hot shower and coffee in the morning. We recommend it. Look for Zacualli sign on the right and go up the hill.

Great campground for a road trip! All above amenities were there, plus plugs in the rest rooms! There is no signage saying the water is potable which made me nervous at first, but it was fine.

Been on the road for three weeks traveling the Northen and Western Cape. This caravan park is an excellent stop over between Cape Town and Pretoria. Private bathroom, green grass and very accomodating host.

On our arrival we were very well received by Francisco and his wife who served us a delicious local dinner with all the products from their farm and the honey that they produce is delicious.
