Large campground in two main areas with smaller lobes, large sites, firepit (no fireban), picnic table, our site close to “free” firewood, ablutions with hot water (included in rate) and flushing toilets , walks in taller forest and to lakeside. Ablutions floor wet. CAD 36.75, fire permit CAD 10.50.

As previously described. Conveniently situated family run rest camp with camping pitches and chalets. Each pitch has a braai, sink, lights and seating. Communal ablutions (single toilet & shower on each side) with warm water. Very decent restaurant, reasonably priced.

If you ever strand here and you want to kamp. This is the place. Quite forrest near river lots of places. Smells like wild thyme.

Pleasant spot close to the dam. Very clean, with fire rings, tables, and pit toilets.
Direct access to the water, and boat ramp.
The railway on the other side of the river is a it annoying by night.
The trail is gravel, however, they were working with a grader, and it’s accessible to all kind of vehicles.

Nice clean and safe hotel in the city centre. It has airco and fan. Coffee and tea making facilities.

We paid $ 55 through booking.com incl breakfast. On internet double rooms from sh 6000. Their restaurant is next door.
Next to busstation. Big supermarkt closeby.
Main sights within walking distance.
Highly recommended.

Nice and isolated spot free of charge. Maybe three or four cars passed for our one-night stay. No mosquitoes when we were there. Road is rough so slow down a bit and watch for potholes.

Nice, quiet campground. $32/night. You can EASILY bring an RV down here, but spots are limited.

Quiet, level and legal free parking lot to spend the night. We spoke to the park staff as well as local people at the park and they gave it a thumbs up. The park itself is incredible and absolutely massive. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed with families. Our daughter loved the BMX park, the inflatable human-sized balls, and the hundreds of other kids playing here. The pool was at maximum capacity but we were still able to take warm showers for $1/each in the locker rooms at the pool (only open till 5:30pm on Sunday) without too much convincing of the front gate guy. Not too hot and not too cold in Loja! Now we are off to see if we can get our alignment fixed

good place for tents. night was quite. but at 6-7 am all the ballons landed around us, that was quite loud.

A great place with stunning views to Trinity and the ocean on the other side. Works for smaller vehicles up to 22-23ft. Probably very busy in season and parking lot is very small so you would be an obstacle for visitors. Road to lighthouse is very bumpy

This is a nice place. They opened a room for me for a shower and bathroom. As mentioned the water pressure is very low. Covered areas to sit. A bit buggy with sand flies day/ some mosquitoes at night. Safe.

Only issue was that I was told 15s a night. Stayed one night and had one lunch. Was charged 80s total. I felt taken advantage of in that regard. Would stay again but be sure of the price.

The water station is dry as the desert wind - no water

Lovely camping here. No electricity. Olde world colonial feel about the place. Good sunsets over the valley. Nice easy walk. Good restaurant and excellent coffee. The dirt road to the farm off the main tar round is slow but picturesque.

Still free as of late May 2023. Confirmed on NPS site before arriving. 10 sites on a beautiful, small loop right by the river. Got my truck and Casita 17’ trailer there with no problems though the road down to the sites might be difficult for larger/wider trailers. Weak Verizon and AT&T. Nice place to chill for a couple days, but it is well off the main roads so it may not be your ideal spot for a quick overnighter/layover.

As per description. There is about 3 acres that any big rig can access, plenty of room to turn around. Highway noise. Large low area full of water so could not go inland towards the trail..

Parc près de la rivière, nous y avons passé la nuit. Nous nous sommes stationné au fond et nous avons pu ouvrir notre slide out de chambre mais s'il y avait eu beaucoup de gens ça aurait été difficile de le faire.

2023-05-21 Très bel emplacement dans une halte routière d’un charmant village et près d’un petit lac, l’Étang du Village, nous y avons passé la nuit. Espace de stationnement restreint, pour VR de petit gabarit. Plusieurs tables de pique-nique, toilette (1) très propre, il y a aussi une prise électrique que nous n’avons pas utilisé. / Very nice location in a rest area of a charming village and near a small lake, “Étang du Village”, we spent the night there. Limited parking space, for small RVs. Several picnic tables, toilet (1) very clean, there is also an electrical outlet that we did not use.

Quiet road, amazing view both to the sea and to The Valley. A bit foggy in the morning, but the sunrise and the views make up for it! Big recommendation!

There are no signs in regards to parking, so I believe it is fine to stay here.

Nice campground with 7 sites. When we stayed here site 6 had the best morning sun for drying a roof tent, will definitely need leveling blocks or gotreads at this one though.
