nous avons passé 2 très bonnes nuits. le samedi soir il y avait un festival de musique pas loin mais c'était pas gênant en fermant les fenêtres. le lieu est vraiment bien entretenu et les sanitaires propres. le proprio est très gentil. 250 pesos pour le véhicule nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants. ne pas avancer complètement dans le chemin il ouvre un des portails pour pouvoir rentrer. en 10 minutes à pied on est sur le site archéologique.

We stayed almost three weeks near Laft Park and it was very crowded during Persian new year. We cured a puppy (Leo) with skin disease and vaccinated (Not Rabies because he was very young and, should be done now by Dr Godarzi in City Qheshm +98 917 451 1531) and left him there. We wanted to take him with us but we didn’t have time to manage the paper for him and place in the Van, to make paper dr Godarzi will do it very easily and cheap. A fisherman from Laft village(+98 917 904 5157 Khoshraftar) and the Laft park Kiosk boy Amir will look after him and we call on other travelers who has the same route as we have to take him with you and bring him to us please. We miss him. We (jimbal_companions: our Insta Page) are in Uzbekistan now and will go to Japan through Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Vladivostok to Korea and than Japan. But the end Goal is Thailand, Vietnam, Laos And so on. In one of these countries we can meet. Leo is very nice and used to live and stay in Van. Small campsite with premium facilities:
Hot showers, strong and fast WiFi, warm water for washing dishes and clotges, washing machine & dryer, restaurant, sanitary dump station, drinking water,…
Little cabins (heated!) and huts to rent as well. Very clean and friendly.
Shady under trees, perfect for tents. There are even roofs to camp under when it rains!

Is next to the N1. Good place for a night. Flat area. There is a security guy for the oil pipline but he doesn't mind that you stay there.

Very good value for money option for a stop over before or after the border. Rooms are 8,500 for a standard room, and 10,000 for a room with two bedrooms. It is old and run down, but clean! Running water, electricity, private bathroom, mosquito net, curtains, towel. Staff is exceptionally friendly.
The backyard where the rooms are has some plants and trees which makes it feel nice.
Place is next to main road in middle of town, so there is some noise because of that, but it is not overbearing. Secure parking behind gate.
Overall very recommended if you want a cheap stop over!

Passamos algumas noites pois o carro deu um problema. Não estacionar próximo a estrada é melhor por causa do barulho da rodovia. Caminhões estacionam mas sem nenhum incomodo. Há duchas com ficha para homens e livre para mulher. 2000 pesos.

I am crossing Africa on a Yamaha Tenere 700 motorcycle, I needed service and repair work. They provide outstanding service and quality. The guys who run Auto Zone are very friendly and resourceful. They can get you parts if needed from South Africa. Chief mechanic Rabia is clean, knowledgeable and very meticulous, he is by far the best mechanic I have met in 21 African countries.

ENSA shop where you can get car insurance (opposite is also Nossa Segueança). The price was 14.000 Kz for 3 months (Toyota LC), and we could pay by Visa card.

Motorhome area. all the usual services are available and free. enough space for 8 vehicles, in the shade and in the sun. Some tools are available for small repairs. There are also games for children on the other side of the road. No wifi, but 4G reception is very good . Thank you very much to the municipality.

Paid 25 soles for a double bed room (1person) with private bathroom. WiFi seems alright, hot shower and pretty clean. No heating but decent blankets. Plenty of space for bikes on the premises.

A very good option if you want to try local cuisine in Maun.

Wonderful place in Osu, owned and run by Nik. Very centrally located not far from the Ivorian Embassy. Dorm rooms and a private apartment. Able to host bikers, overlanding trucks, safely store bicycles.

Lovely warm welcome, great space, very helpful staff. All very clean and well decorated!

Big rig friendly, Momentum 376 toy hauler easily fit for the night. Road traffic was almost nil during the night.

We asked if we could fill up with water, they have a "secret" water tap with good water pressure, they were very nice and agreed.

We asked the police and they sent us to this spot. Still a good place to spend the night for free.

Best place for snorkeling and diving surround here. Ishallah whow long it will stay like this. Better than aqaba, not comparable with the places 100’s of km south of here. Nice coral, blue-green clear water, coral sand beach and some small fish.

Very friendly family.

We camped here for 3 nights. They have a big green garden. Very safe.

Very good restaurant (also vegan), and VERY GOOD coffee.

Clean toilets. Fast WIFI.

Lugar super tranquilo as margens do lago, paisagem perfeita, a menos de 1km do comércio, supermercado, padarias e até igreja.. fizemos tudo caminhando.. o lugar é frequentado por famílias que vem pescar no lado.. ficamos 2 noites se. Nenhum problema

The restaurant has been closed since Covid hit the world. However, Roberto is happy to have Overlanders come and stay, oh his lovely property overlooking the river/bay and he will gladly cook for you. The price per vehicle is now $20. No matter how many people. There is bathrooms and a shower.
Last night we need to operate on our AC unit, Roberto was so nice to lend us his ladder.

I've used the dumps a few times. can come in from multiple directions. huge lot to flip the rig around if you want.

never had issues that poster states. it is kind of a drive on the SW part of base, but it's closer to me than monte Sano to dump and it's free
