Passamos duas noites dormindo aqui, espaço bonito, tem um calçadão com uma pracinha linda, tem o centro histórico perto, ducha fria. Tem bastante movimento e um pouco de barulho até as 23h. Um ponto positivo ótimo é que tem monitoramento 24h da polícia.

We spent two nights sleeping here, beautiful space, has a promenade with a beautiful little square, the historic center is nearby, cold showers. There is a lot of movement and a little noise until 11pm. A great positive point is that there is 24-hour police monitoring.

This is a must stop on your way to the Caprivi strip or Windhoek! The food is still amazing (we stopped for the second time 2019 and 2024). Make a reservation for lunch and use the campsite of Otavi Vineyards to overnight because you also do a winetasting. Highly recommend!!

We really like this place Quiet, organic, and has everything you need Bathrooms & showers are so clean! Came here after boondocking for 10 days to charge up , etc Planned to stay 1 day, ended up staying a few Would definitely come back here again Not busy( even for fathers day weekend)! June is a great time to come Loved walking around the bay when the tide goes out💕

Dealership of Honda, KTM and Aprilia, service all brands. Closed on mondays. (200 meters down the road is a small motorcycle shop called "Paul de Wit Motoren", wich is open on mondays).

Peaceful site right by the lack. We found the camp host to be friendly when he came to collect our money and close the gate at 10pm. Still $15 per night. Only two other campers when we arrived. Lake warm enough to swim in and the wee fish were jumping at dusk. Suprisingly, not too moggy. Not near train tracks or busy road made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Recommend.

I was at this place and everything is the same.

Large meadow / pasture far enough from 940 that traffic is not noticeable and close enough to the creek for water. Room for numerous rigs. Great view of the Rocky Mountains to the east. Not much in the way of firewood. Woke up to wild turkeys.

Great spot!! We’re in a truck camper. Drove down the dirt road next to this spot and found a much more secluded place. Stayed a few days and only saw 1 person. Probably busier on the weekend though. Wouldn’t attempt that road without high clearance, but it was dry while we were here so no 4x4 needed.

Average hotel, decent location (located on a busy single lane one-way street, easy to miss) near the plaza. Secure parking, hot water (but inconsistent), weak wifi signal in rooms. We paid 330 QTZ for a double room.

They're currently getting a new roof. Workers started at 7am directly above our room, hammering away and sending lots of debris and dirt raining from the ceiling onto the beds. If you love construction noises, then this place is for you...

Great American Breakfast. It’s like a diner back home. Hasbrowns, Eggs Benedict, and pancakes were all delicious! Everyone speaks great English. Prices are from $4-$6. A great restaurant if your missing tastes from home.

As described, down dead end gravel t, not maintained in winter. Now has sign that includes no camping but no mention of overnight parking.

I found this good spot to camp 1 night, only leave the route and find the energy lines, there are a lot of possibilities, wood to make fire, and nobody here you are covered to the road, no animals during the night.

I stopped here to buy some drinks and snacks, good shop friendly people, there is a butchery beside the shop and also liquor shop.

Few miles down Lee Canyon road, and turning onto road “560” there is a spot immediately once you turn onto the dirt road or continue down the dirt road and there are multiple turnouts to park/camp. We brought our 2 wheel sprinter to the third pullout - Joshua trees everywhere, quiet, felt very safe, fire ring at the spot we stayed at.
My partner had service with AT&T though my Verizon did not work.

Free dump station. No rinse water, no potable water. They prefer a call before you arrive so they can open the cover - 207-865-3540.

It is a very nice place, lots of places to park and a beautiful view of the sea !

Police wanted us to stop and park on the side. We did but then he suddenly waved us on anyway without checking or wanting anything.

This is the best gas station ever! The price was the same as the others in Whitehorse. They have service for fill up. They have RV dumping, they have propane fill up (20lb 25$ so a good price!, they give you a free bag of ice and you can drink free coffee inside 😁 Oh and they cleaned the windshield while fueling up. Almost too good to be true!

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. 350Dur for single one night. Safe parking on site for 110 Landy, big rigs could use the street which is not an issue. For cars there is a covered parking area.

They are renovating and adding to the structure so price may go up when completed.

Restaurant and coffee shops very close.

Sani-dump and potable water but no "rinse" water. Free to registered guests, $5 for others.
