Dormimos aqui uma noite do lado da delegacia, super tranquilo.

We spent Monday evening and slept one night here. The night was completely silent. In the evening there were some cars and joggers passing by. I really liked this place, clean and pretty.

It's on the first floor at the back on the left.

Open space close to the road but not visible.
I was here for a short lunch break but would be possible to stay overnight.

Probably the nicest, cleanest dump and fresh water site we've been to! let's keep it clean and free!!

Beautiful spots along this road and although very near the highway it's amazingly quiet because the river is flowing so well

We passed this place looking for a night to stay, and it seems this place gets used quite frequently by people to dump their trash, by cows to take a dump and also for some reason as a romantic getaway for the local youth. (sorry to that couple we interrupted).

We found a better place to stay about 100m up the road.

Exit Mongolia: Easy, took 20 minutes
Enter Russia: Took 4.5 hours, most of that time was waiting. We did get interviewed by the border guard but nothing scary. The customs lady helped us fill out the forms. All very professional. The check of our car was not too thorough. We opens most of the boxes and they just took a look.

Cheap tourist SIM card near te border. We paid 3000 DRAM 15 days unlimited data (Viva/MTS). Very kind people working there too!

A quiet and sunny place surrounded by lost places

As described. There are two entrances 100yds apart. The southernmost leads to the large, flat, gravel surface.

Posto com estacionamento gratuito. Permitido pernoitar. Há sanitários, loja de conveniência, lanchonete. Tomadas 220V atrás do posto de gasolina.

It is a sandy patch, easy to reach and also good for a large rig. Nothing more or less.

Stealth street parked here in my van over night and was not disturbed. Some traffic until 10ish but a quiet Monday night and a quiet Tuesday morning. Just made it look like my van was parked but showed no signs of being here. No “no parking” signs. Residential neighborhood in front of the Art Center.

This is a paved street that gets to 20+ degrees steep. Its very narrow with tight steep switchbacks and oncoming traffic. It required 4WD to get up as our rear wheels would just spin. Another route is advised.

We stayed here for one night. Quiet place. People walking their dogs in the morning. Very levelled, a rarity in Manizales.

Local bar and grill offers good burgers/fries and a moderate selection of canned and bottled beer. Rustic, authentic atmosphere. Great place to unwind after a long day on the trail.

They also are the local general store and have some basic supplies available, like ice.

Great access to the Grande Rhonde river, used by rafters as a pull out. A great place to wash up and cool off after a day up in the mountains.

Flat spot next to the plaza principal of the town. It is super quiet after 7:30-8pm. Not the greatest spot ever but more than adequate for a night either going to or coming from the border

It's not an exceptionally restaurant. But on my way back from the Sary-Chelek Lake I was very hungry and stopped here.
They have Pizza, Burger... for fair prices. (like I paid 400SOM for a Pizza)
The Restaurant is upstairs with a very good view over the valley and AC

Read online that they had hot showers. Really small rooms, a bit filthy and a nasty smell. Wouldn’t stay here again. Also the shower was cold. Bike was able to stay in the room tho. 15.000

Great free camp area. Highly recommend getting here early on a non-holiday weekday. It gets really busy in the afternoon.

A little campground in the forest , so quiet ! There are some place with electricity (20$) and others without . No wifi , no dump station , water at a central spigot , pique nique table , a lot of trails in forest. There is toilet and shower in a building .
Very fresh and quiet . There is a box for self registration.

If you’re not a registered camper you can only come in after 2pm :/

Super quiet with great views. Road is well maintained and easy for any vehicle. If you're towing a trailer, I would keep it under 30ft.

The exact coordinates aren't accessable by car. But this isn't a problem, bit further up the hill is a flat gravel area. Also big rig friendly.

The parking area is almost completely filled with semi trailers. We stayed overnight without incident. but the train nose started at 4:30 am

You park your car here and hike to tge Cascada. It is safe to park the car.
Cascadas are 10-15 min uphill hike from here
