They do NOT want to have Campers any more on their place. Now they ask for the price of a hotel room (2000 Pesos) to stay only over night at the parking lot.
They recommended Villa Mexicana where we went.

large plaza parking lot. stayed here along with many other cars overnight. cars pulling in all thru out the night, bumping music at 1am. left my windows cracked for air and had someone trying to talk to me thru them.

A variety of RVs and surf watchers. Hearing the surf and being high above the ocean is very pleasant. My cell phone navigation died for awhile during the journey from the highway but then picked up again in the end. Three bars with Verizon.

Only stopped here for lunch but it's a beautiful area with some nice signage about the history of Dugout Dick. The river was a great spot for a bath after a few days off the grid.

yes there is a free dump and a water spigot, not convinced of the water being potable or not though. it is along side the car wash but it is not very clearly marked.

Small clearing. Perfect for tent or van. 2WD access. Surrounded by small trees.
2bar ATT LTE. Yet couldn't access internet. But text via network works.
Big rigs will have to reverse out to FSR356 from this site location (about 70ft). No turn around for big vehicles.

No RV fill up but Kenneth (friendly cashier) said it was no problem to fill up our 10 gallon jug. They just had too many RVs start to come through it was causing crowding.

lots of spots to choose from, there are about 5 others here, we just continued down the road until we found an unoccupied pull out. Like previously mentioned, some spots are on gravel and some on sand

Dump station is free at camping Ste Agathe. At the end of the left branch road. Ask to fill water.

Amazing spot!
Lots of trees and wind with a calm inlet from the ocean. Potable water is available here as are flush toilets but no showers.
Great signal for AT&T and 3-4 bars for TMobile but no idea about Verizon.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Signs to keep your distance from baby seals (didn't see any) and to obey the oyster limit.
Ocean was a little cold and the beach was rocky with sharp oysters, not fit for swimming. $18/night plus $5 per extra vehicle.

There are conflicting signs in this parking lot. One says overnight camping allowed the other says overnight camping not allowed. We stayed there and we’re not bothered. There’s good cell service for both Verizon and AT&T. You do hear road noise as the parking lot is right next to the road. This is just a parking lot so there is no water no picnic tables no fire rings but there is a bathroom at the end of the parking lot that is open at least during the daytime.

Patrolled by bylaw officers. Overnight parking is not allowed, even though there is no sign forbidding it. The officer ejected 4 vans this night - it is a popular spot but the bylaw people know it well and come by every two hours. They are friendly, but two violations gets you a ticket.

Coolest. Campsite. Ever. These are the kinds of places I love finding. Awesome history of Dugout Dick, large open circle with a fire ring, easy river access 50 feet away.

1000kw for a COVID test with travel certificate done 7 days a week, takes a bit if time but avoids the ‘doctors’ who just want to make a quick buck out of a crisis. Just register at main building and pay and get the test done in front of the hospital grounds and wait 24 hours

Small little cubby camp holes dot sparsely along the dusty narrow canyon road while the river runs through them. My most favorite site discovered, by far... in a long long time.

I parked on the side of the road for the night.
There is a fedex parking lot a little down the road, so big rigs pass very often.
I slept with a window down, I felt safe.
Quite place with minimal shade

Road well maintained coming in but brush scraped the sides of my van in some spots. Nothing that can’t be buffed out. There were a few spots on the road that were really rocky but just take it slow and you’ll be fine. 1 bar of Verizon 1 bar of AT&T. Beautiful CLEAR lake, deer walking through campground and got really close! Tons of birds and woodpeckers to watch. The view is beautiful. Worth the slow drive in, stay a few days so you don’t have to do the road multiple times.

Very strong ATT and Verizon LTE.

Great beach access.

Otherwise it's a parking lot you camp on.

$25/night.
