There’s a large nearly flat parking area off of a well maintained dirt road. Plenty of room for RVs, vans and cars. There’s a port-a-potty here too. The area was very clean- no trash at all. Let’s keep it that way :)

Tried to find the camping, but both on the main road and the dirt road at the back of the GPS location there was nothing to be found. Maybe it closed now

Great little parking lot with access to the water. Pit toilets. Should note there is a big sign next to toilets that says “NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING” but nothing saying no overnight *parking*, don’t know if rangers will note the distinction so stay at your own risk. We were the only van that stayed last night and had no problems.

Bridge Camp is under new management and OPEN.
The manager Taris speaks excellent English.
Camping 260 Kw, Chalet 515 Kw .
I stayed in a chalet, which was recently renovated, and looked really nice (because I didn’t want to set up my tent for one night).
I checked the ablutions on the campground, they looked ok to me. The camp will prepare hot water for your shower.
The pool is clean and looks nice.

No food available at the moment, because the camp is on solar power, so the fridge works only intermittently.
If you bring your own food, they will prepare it for you.

And yes, the campground is next to the road. But I doubt that anybody changed the location in the last five years :).

I think some comments here are way over the top!
There is no reason not to check them out.
Give them a chance 😊.

Plenty of spots along these roads. Fairly popular. Would recommend hiking James creek, its beautiful. Trails also lead down to "lot G" on here. Lots more RVs and stuff there.

Quiet and relaxed, with a view on the hills. Water source nearby. Plenty of space for motorhomes.

alongside from road gravel pulloff is the dispersed site. a dead end road which has clearly been used repeatedly before.

the site is approx 20' back from road so offers little road noise protection from nys 73.

water access is available down a steep trail at the back of the site.

cell signal is 4 bars for verizon and AT&T

Big no camping sign, vehicles will be towed. Posted above a red disk, which means no hunting in NB. Sign looks like it's not official, maybe made by locals. does t quote ordinances or by order of whom.

Lovely NF campground perched on top of the mountain with beautiful views of the valley and surrounding red rock cliffs. Very quiet, clean, nice breezes and shaded under pine trees in the summer heat- felt amazing!. The campground is up a paved windy road, and then a short well maintained gravel road at the very end. Dry camping only for $10 night, pit toilets.

$30 cash or $35 cc. For dump fee. You have to sign your life away with liability waivers. Need drivers license and proof of insurance. But there’s not much else around here. I’m not even sure what this place is. Sales? Repair? RV rental? Looks like they might have propane filling too

Didn't care for this place. Got spot 6 and it was just noisy from all the other campers around, everyone on top of each other. The river is difficult to get to, very steep banks. Very hot and kind of humid. I may have been happier staying in the dirt lot right next to the campground, where there was no shade but at least quieter. The rest area near the border of OR is really nice too. No Verizon or ATT.

A small pull out off of FR450. It’s about 40 feet of two track down a hill to a small fairly level space with enough room to turn around in a Wrangler or pickup.

Some service on T-Mobile.

As the name suggests, poison Ivy is everywhere. Take precautions or suffer from itchy feet and ankles!

It probably isn’t big enough to fit more than a Jeep or van. Moderately high clearance suggested.

Southbound. Remains a good rest stop with loud highway noise. Its big so there was lots of room even when we arrived at 11 pm. It has a good visitor center kiosk with pamphlets and maps.

Quiet campground with water and pit toilets. Reservation only and comes out to be about $30 a night including the reservation fees. Loop E is closest to the lake but it fills up first.
