bkim31 | Filled here early afternoon on a Tuesday and it was empty except for one guy taking a nap in his truck. I backed up my 19' promaster easily but the parking lot is small so bigger rigs might struggle. There was a police car nearby like a previous user indicated. I didn't notice any "no 🐕" signs and let my dog roam off-leash while I filled up. No problems. It's a nice area and while I didn't feel awkward because the park was empty but I could definitely see why one might if it was busy. |

juliakc1117 | There are a few spots along this road to set up for the night. Was super quiet and private and no one came down the road at all while I was there. |

LivingLightRV.com | Not big rig friendly. Beautiful little campground with lots of trees make it difficult to park a big RV. Since we arrived after dark, we didn't even attempt to squeeze our 28 foot motorhome into a site so just drive through and found a roadside spot for the night. |

Track World Travel | Closed gate made it impossible to enter the area where this spot seems to be. A woman, living behind the gate, told us: no camping allowed. Our Turkish is not existing, so we could not get aditional info. |

globe-discover.ch | This camp it seams will be under new management called now Kaoko Mopane. Very nice situated under Mopane trees each campsite with own toilet and shower and also a sink for dishwashing. Electricity on site. All very clean and quite new. Much more better than country lodge. Also with swimming pool. Staff very friendly and start immediately the donkey for hot water. Not crowded and very privat. We appreciate so much. N$ 180 pppn. Only 5 km to town. Road a bit rough. Can recommend. |

callumjsankey | came in about 3 pm and stayed until 11 pm when some dude with his face covered started circling around my car. I was parked all the way to the front and in a sedan, so I don't look as stealthy as somebody with tinted windows or a van/camper might, but the dude was trying to look in and who knows what else. Probably overreacting but still left and went to the cracker barrel where I finished the night anyways. Not saying this is a dangerous spot- Rehoboth beach is incredibly safe. Just saying it's a good idea to be attentive. Safe travels everybody. |

andre.chiquit.ooo | Tried to fill up on water here, found a hose hooked up outside that didn't dispense any water. Checked with the clerk and they had no idea about filling up with potable water there. |

benojeda | Informal campsite in the cozy garden of a beautiful house in one of the best neighbourhoods of Dar es Salaam. The owners are a mix couple -tanzanian/spanish- with kids and they rent rooms in the house as well. They are also overlanders and are happy to accept vehicles in their garden. Water and electricity available. Clean toilette and shower. They can prepare a nice breakfast upon request. Permanent security. www.bagamoyos.com/mbezi |

pampas.overland | As others said, this is a good spot. Wide open spaces, no one is on top of each other and you can barely hear anyone else. Access is good, road is a bit broken, but it's old packed gravel so coming in with bad weather should allow good traction. One word of advise on something that happened to us: at the very beginning, just past the cell tower, there is a big clearing with fresh gravel and mountains of gravel to the side. We arrived late and with an ice storm, so visibility was bad. Beware there is a big hole in the middle of this wide open area, like a compact car size hole, and it does not have much of anything marking it properly. To the side of this hole, there is a narrow "lane" formed. We drove on that as if we were going out and our trailer caught a massive pothole on the passenger side. It's more of a washout broken by water, and it's deep and sharp. We bent a rim and spent the night in that clearing, then fixed everything in the AM. So be very careful coming in and out at night, use high beams and go as slow as you can go. Regarding internet, Verizon/Visible full bars, 80ms ping on open signal and between 20 and 30 mbps up/down. Amazing for remote work, and reception continues for quite some distance on the road, past the last animal gate. |

maxtraveling | Small restaurant with a pond. It's a nice place to eat outside and relax. The food is good and prices are reasonable. The owner is very nice and told us she was working on adding showers and an area to camp. There is a flat parking spot so this is already a decent place to spend the night at. |
