Filled here early afternoon on a Tuesday and it was empty except for one guy taking a nap in his truck. I backed up my 19' promaster easily but the parking lot is small so bigger rigs might struggle. There was a police car nearby like a previous user indicated. I didn't notice any "no 🐕" signs and let my dog roam off-leash while I filled up. No problems. It's a nice area and while I didn't feel awkward because the park was empty but I could definitely see why one might if it was busy.

There are a few spots along this road to set up for the night. Was super quiet and private and no one came down the road at all while I was there.

Now a SPEEDWAY EXPRESS instead of ARCO. The rv dump station is still at the back behind the car washes with the same signage as before.

Large free camping lot for cars, travel trailers & fifth wheels at the far west edge of the Pilot station. Can see it from eastbound interstate.

Not big rig friendly. Beautiful little campground with lots of trees make it difficult to park a big RV. Since we arrived after dark, we didn't even attempt to squeeze our 28 foot motorhome into a site so just drive through and found a roadside spot for the night.

Closed gate made it impossible to enter the area where this spot seems to be. A woman, living behind the gate, told us: no camping allowed. Our Turkish is not existing, so we could not get aditional info.

Great campsite, parking on the beach if it’s available and it’s open all year.
They also have a few small bungalows.
Biig rigs may struggle but camper vans or 4x4 could park on beach.
Restaurant with great Turkish food (fish & meze) Great hospitality as ever in Turkey and a wonderful chilled vibe when 1 day can easily turn into more.
They even lit fire to create even more atmosphere.
140 Turkish lira for 2 people and van.
Easy access to sea.
Enjoy it - this is a really great find

This camp it seams will be under new management called now Kaoko Mopane. Very nice situated under Mopane trees each campsite with own toilet and shower and also a sink for dishwashing. Electricity on site. All very clean and quite new. Much more better than country lodge. Also with swimming pool. Staff very friendly and start immediately the donkey for hot water. Not crowded and very privat. We appreciate so much. N$ 180 pppn. Only 5 km to town. Road a bit rough. Can recommend.

Solar showers.
Awesome place, lots of shade. Beautiful views and nice hike around (as long as you want basically).
One thing is there aren't many sites available so try check if there's space before arriving

came in about 3 pm and stayed until 11 pm when some dude with his face covered started circling around my car. I was parked all the way to the front and in a sedan, so I don't look as stealthy as somebody with tinted windows or a van/camper might, but the dude was trying to look in and who knows what else. Probably overreacting but still left and went to the cracker barrel where I finished the night anyways. Not saying this is a dangerous spot- Rehoboth beach is incredibly safe. Just saying it's a good idea to be attentive. Safe travels everybody.

Tried to fill up on water here, found a hose hooked up outside that didn't dispense any water. Checked with the clerk and they had no idea about filling up with potable water there.

Informal campsite in the cozy garden of a beautiful house in one of the best neighbourhoods of Dar es Salaam. The owners are a mix couple -tanzanian/spanish- with kids and they rent rooms in the house as well. They are also overlanders and are happy to accept vehicles in their garden. Water and electricity available. Clean toilette and shower. They can prepare a nice breakfast upon request. Permanent security. www.bagamoyos.com/mbezi

As others said, this is a good spot. Wide open spaces, no one is on top of each other and you can barely hear anyone else.

Access is good, road is a bit broken, but it's old packed gravel so coming in with bad weather should allow good traction. One word of advise on something that happened to us: at the very beginning, just past the cell tower, there is a big clearing with fresh gravel and mountains of gravel to the side. We arrived late and with an ice storm, so visibility was bad. Beware there is a big hole in the middle of this wide open area, like a compact car size hole, and it does not have much of anything marking it properly. To the side of this hole, there is a narrow "lane" formed. We drove on that as if we were going out and our trailer caught a massive pothole on the passenger side. It's more of a washout broken by water, and it's deep and sharp. We bent a rim and spent the night in that clearing, then fixed everything in the AM. So be very careful coming in and out at night, use high beams and go as slow as you can go.

Regarding internet, Verizon/Visible full bars, 80ms ping on open signal and between 20 and 30 mbps up/down. Amazing for remote work, and reception continues for quite some distance on the road, past the last animal gate.

Beautiful wooded campsite. Pads are hard and some if not most are fairly level. Fire pits are dirty - clean up after you use them!!

I arrived here on the bicycle and it was 25sol for the night. hot water, TV, and great WiFi.
The room was very clean and a nice courtyard inside to leave the bike. I recommend this hotel, very quiet too.

Small restaurant with a pond. It's a nice place to eat outside and relax. The food is good and prices are reasonable.

The owner is very nice and told us she was working on adding showers and an area to camp. There is a flat parking spot so this is already a decent place to spend the night at.

Gravel lot. Several people parked here for the night. Engines running and a little loud, but a place to sleep nonetheless.

As described! I spent a few nights here in my little ProMaster with no issues. I parallel parked just west of the angled spots as did a few other vans. A few passing cars but otherwise quiet, with full Verizon service & overall a great spot! Would stay again!

Nice spot, quiet at the entrance of the National Park. The owner of the land will probably come to collect 5GEL for the night and he helped us gather some wood for the fire.

Perfect spot for a night, big gravel lot, with picnic tables, recycle and garbage cans... the outhouse on the other hand is full of garbage! what is wrong with people? it's currently unusable.
