Amazing view to wake up too. Got here after dark and it stayed a little to windy for a fire but what a view to wake up to. Didn’t see anyone pass by until the sun was up.

Great spot! Lots of travelers, security here at night. Clean bathrooms, nice picnic areas with some covered with grills. Snack machine, even a very tiny off leash area for pets. There is also a water spigot, red handle near bathrooms, was working as of 10/7.

Lovely campsite overlooking the wetlands of Wakkerstroom. Clean ablutions, water showers, clean flushing toilets. Kristi is your host, very friendly. We will come again.

Public free male and female heated separate restrooms with hot water hair washing sinks with shampoo dispensers open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

We stayed here for one quiet night. Parking lot not as big as other Walmart, but all good enough.

Basic riverfront campsite with bathrooms and wood fired geyser for hot water. No electricity or drinking water. Large sites and free firewood.

Small garage / workshop for motorcycles and scooters. The owner Zeynal Düzen is very friendly and knows what he does. We made Oil change with Motul Oil (100TL per liter). Also did some welding works. Only speeks turkish but works with google translate

Great place to stop overnight or spend the day, hiking trail within Hastings Family Habitat Complex along the Medicine Creek and Missouri National Recreation River to Niobrara State Park. Quiet place to sleep overnight.

10 nice campsites at the southern edge of Nxai Pan. Site 10 is very private. Ablutions are clean, water is flowing. 40 km sandy dirt road to get here, no problem anywhere. Don´t miss the great pans around Baines Baobabs and the waterhole in the Nxai Pan with many Jackals and Elephants, some Springbok, few blue wildebeest, giraffe and Zebra. For cats you have to be lucky or bring a lot of time.

Very secure place to park your Rig. Nathan has been an amazing host. We had problems with our Rig and Nathan always new the right guys to fix it. Thank you again! The Bed and Breakfast was also excellent. Very quiet place to relax and plan your next adventure.

As others have described. Pulled in after dark. Easy to navigate to spot on lower tier. Traffic noise not an issue in our van. Lots of open spots this time of year. Had 4 bars ATT 4G LTE. Great overnight pit stop.

spent a night here.. arrived at 2am and ringed the bell the guy opened but when I said I was going to sleep on the car he was a bit confused and kinda angry but let me sleep there. when I left around 1pm the guy was friendly and even asked if I wanted to use the toilet. I was R$15 for 12 Hours.

Beautiful campsite. A bit more expensive, but well worth the money considering the unique location and the facilities. We stayed at Orion, next to a water hole. Own abblution with hot water (solar). 4x4 route is very nice (approx. 10km). Can also recommend the game drive (2hrs) at 525N$ p.p. The guide takes you deeper into the desert and you realize the campsite area covers only about 2% of the reserve.

We had a good night hiding behind the toilet building as we were not sure if we could camp there! Neither the less we had an awesome time. Photographing the Milky Way. There was some visitors until late from Aus but after sunset it was quiet. We saw a silver jackal, horses, ostriches. Perfect spot for one night.

Bom lugar para passar a noite. Você tem de ter sorte para achar vaga durante o dia. De segunda a quinta é fácil achar a vaga a noite. Quinta feira de manhã tem uma feira frutas, legumes e com bons produtos locais.

We had such a lovely stay at Maabwe and a very warm welcome from Margot and Richard. We wish we could have stayed longer. The showers and bathroom are fabulous. We camped with a view over the lake and our friends took rooms with air conditioning, perfect in the heat. Best of all was all the valuable information and contacts about where to go and who to book with which made our stay in Zimbabwe so much better than just sticking to the tourist routes. In fact when we had a breakdown a couple of weeks later they rescued us with trustworthy contacts for who to go to for repairs. It’s really worth a stay here. We will likely go back as we’d like to take a trip on the lake and maybe go fishing and just relax a bit in the breeze there.

Nice place, great views. The owner of the farm nearby is the nicest guy! We bought some of his goats cheese, he made us some coffee too and chatted to us.

Not too many sites but the views were really pretty and the sites has campfire rings and tables. Good amenities for what otherwise looks to be BLM land.

Not sure if these are legit spots, but the hilltops in this area all have dirt roads leading up to the top of them. Full bars ATT and Verizon service. Made it up here in a 2wd E350 but it’s a 7.3L and we’re skilled off-roaders. Wouldn’t recommend trying it for most 2wd vehicles or if it’s wet. Beautiful 360 degree views from the top.

they asked 340 for a site without power. apparently it's high season.

Fabulous spot! Enjoyed opening our door to a beautiful sunrise and water view! Easy walking distance to town & Strawberry Banke! Geno’s Chowder House & Sandwich Shop a cute waterfront restaurant nearby!
