Great, nice and safe place. We park the car here down a tree so that the light of the street and then the sun doesn't hit us so hard.
We parked for four days. First night we slept there. The next two night we slept in san pedro and we left the car here. Last night we slept here again. As there is always street light and a hotel, we felt really safe. During the day you are just steps away from lot of places to eat and bathrooms. If you walk down the earth road you will be on the shore in a place for parapentes (parachutes?). Amazing place to be on the lake where some people fish in an artisan way.

Now 18,000 per person. Showers are hot and good WiFi. Biggest downside side is there isn’t really a flat place to park. So you’ll need some thick pieces of wood or levelers. 20 minute walk to the town. Would stay here again.

Is a beatifull place to sleep. Chaep: 20 soles per two person and the van per night. The shower has a extra cost, 5 soles and is cold. Near to the city center.

Great shop, helped us get our kombi back running after an electrical problem. Even made us lunch!! Very helpful and could probably solve any problems or know someone that can. (46) 3233-2895 service 24 hours.

Charming cafe in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Owners are super-sweet, no Lenny of space for parking and camping. 360 degree views of the desert and mountains.

Wow. Incredible location, tucked away from the highway with ample space for a few campers or rv set ups. Gate was open and signs point to the camping area. There’s a little slope getting there but manageable with my promaster 2wd.

This was a magical spot. Busy on the weekend during the day. After sunset it clears out. We were able to park our Ford Transit High Roof Extended but the road in is a bit rough. No need for 4X4 though. We slept to the sound of the flowing stream and woke to howler monkeys in the trees above our van. It was amazing. No services. Please leave no trace.

Very nice place in thé vineyards with a beautiful view on the orange river. Private and clean bathroom. Shade, grass, quiet. Peacefull. Nobody at the office on sunday. We were installed and someone friendly came for the payment. The sympathic old owners came later for saying hello. We paid 180 R for two because we are in retreat.

Very nice family business which is serious, competent, honest and very welcoming !

We wanted to check a weird behavior of our engine, so they inspected the on board computer, and finally guessed what might be the problem. They tried to find the source for maybe an hour and a half, without success. They probably would have found it, but as it was not critical to drive, we decided to continue our road.
At the end, as the "did not resolved anything", they didn't ask for any money. Pretty honest !! :) :) :)

Pemex and supermarkt. Guys, who put gasoline, acted a bit weird but seems to be ok. Didn't sleep here butthink its possible.

this is a restarea for truckers but they let rv's and campertrucks in. spotless bathrooms hot showers and 24 h.security. paid 150peso will find out how quiet it is

Beautiful parking, 4 bars LTE Verizon. Lot’s of photographers at sunset as you can tell is a gorgeous.

Bel endroit avec possibilite de profite de l eau a 32 degres des bains thermaux de la grotte mais beaucoup trop touristique. Beaucoup de monde beaucoup de bruit car les touristes louent des tentes pour dormir et font la fete de plus le parking pour les fourgons est au bird de la riviere sur du gravier avec beaucoup de poussiere quand il y a des rafales de vent. C est beau mais trop frequente ! Cout 150/personne le parc et 30 le parking par jour 7h a 20 h.

Beautiful campsite with lots of big trees and shade all day. Every site has its own little platform with a pretty straw roof and private ablution and a kitchen sink and electricity. Private fire place and braai area. All included in the price. You can buy firewood and fire starters in the store.
There's a nice bar and lounge area to sit and watch the animals who visit the waterhole. I was there in the rainy season but still saw enormous herds of buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, impala and so many elephants. It was unreal! The birdlife is unbelievable as well.
There's a little store, where you can but meat packs, drinks, coffee and order pizza from a pizzaria in town. (has to be paid in cash) The bar is not open every night, probably as a result of Covid and few visitors, so ask them and buy drinks in the store before they close.
Toilet paper is included. Just ask for it. Cleaning was done every day, while I was there.

Dario is a nice mechanic. he replaced the oil and helped with our axle. he did his job well. unfortunately afterwards we had another problem with the break. later we found that it was a just the ABS sensor which was nit properly adjusted. however, after all he invited us for an asado at his house. 26000 Pesos (150 US$) for 8 liter of full synthetic oil and half a day of work. most likely a bit too much. however, he invited us for a dinner, that was worth the extra money.

As described. Several spots around, some with fire pits. Very windy if there is any wind at all. Road easily passable in 2wd Sprinter

Excellent place, we spent three nights here to solve some things that we needed in the city, we parked next to store, good wi-fi, friendly attendants, the shower is hot but we paied 150 pesos, the bathrooms are clean . Here we go to the center of the city at the Carrefour supermarket, inside have a Western Union point to get money, and we find a great laundry also, at Lavafran.
