This is the most epic parking lot that I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in.

This is a great spot for an overnight stop over. We stayed at the first stop off on the left. Didn't hear much road noise, it was pretty windy though.

Went there with flood and autumn rain and wind. Just behind the painted wall a little protection.
No sea lions (beginning of April).

wash prices are 2 basket $2 4 basket $4 6 basket $6, drying starts at $1.75 for 30min. I have no idea what a basket is, you have to load bills (min $1) onto a free card. you can't take the money back off the card

Cool place just down the hill from the village. Really nice people running the place, good food and just generally great vibes to be had here. paid 50,000 pesos for the matrimonial room with a private bathroom. Good showers and decent wifi. Only downside is we couldn't use the kitchen. Highly recommend. Breakfast included.

Nice Lodge that has a very nice bar terrace with a good panorama of all Barra. Perfect to see the sunsets from here. They also offer pizzas, salats, samosas, and seafood.
They have also WiFi for free.
We didn't eat here, only drink a beer (120 M)

Great dump place. Easy access and above all it’s one of the last free dump and water fill stations I’ve found. Please let’s keep it that way. Clean up after yourself and respect what is freely given.

Go around the back and tell them you can’t fit in the 2.2 m entrance. That’s where the big delivery trucks goes. You can then drive around to the front. Parking is also free via the back. There is pick and pay and checkers and everything you need

We stopped here (on the eastbound side) intending to stay the night. but it was so loud from I10 there was no way we could stay. that, combined with the narrow parking lot means that every passing truck rattles your vehicle and scares the heck out of you. there is Verizon service. we left for the next overlander spot and didn't stay.

Easy road down from the main road. Lovely place with grass, trees and white 'beach' sand. Place is subject to change as the river changes course over time and this spot is used by locals to fill bags of river sand. No Claro reception. Garbage bin present.

Great place to stay. Two pieces of heavy machinery vehicles were in the parking lot and my sprinter van. No one bothered me during the night and I got excellent rest. It does smell really bad outside. I’m guessing that’s due to the factory next door but it could just be the water.

Great spot. Right on the street by a fisherman’s cove, In front of the hotel. Seems there is a bit of traffic all night but nothing worth moving spots over. Would def stay here again.

Nice, family-owned waterfront hotel. Hotel is currently undergoing several renovations inside and outside. Features include a private pool, in-room fireplace, pet friendly, secure parking, private garden with beautiful flowers from the region. I got a room with a king-bed and twin (view of Lake Atitlan) for $250Qz for 5 nights. It has surpassed all of my expectations.

Kinda out of the way , but very shaded beautiful campground , put toilets, picknick tables . Verizon is very spotty , ok with WeBoost but great cell about a mile down road . Need America the Beautiful pass or the Adventure pass . No noise and no filtered light. Probably terrible for solar lol. Happy trails !!

this place is very beautiful, remote and off the grid. loved this place. however: when we arrived the lady that was there didn't knew the current price to stay and the owner didnt pick up his phone. We agreed paying the next day. Soo the next day she told us it's 10.000 C per person for 1 night. wich, in our opinion, is outragious. okay the place is beautiful, but the facilities are very very basic. you have a toilet and cold shower, but had to use our own toiletpaper. wich is offcourse all fine but not for that price. so we paid 10.000c in total and left. So make sure to agree on the price beforhand!

They are on winter operations right now. Which includes electricity but not water at the site, they have a water spigot that is on! They have clean washrooms although they are co-Ed which to me is a bit strange, it’s stalls of toilets and showers and all co-Ed so that makes me a tad uncomfortable especially when I showered. For me I got them down to 50/night but it’s normally 65 for a van during winter season.

Good camping for a night. Right in town. Cost us $250 pesos for a truck camper. More if you have a bigger unit. Includes electricity, water hookup, sewage dump, wifi, hot showers, and toilets. Well lit parking lot, not really our cup of tea but it was quiet and we had no problems.

We went to the attached restaurant for dinner and it wasn’t great. Food was pretty bland/over cooked and over priced.

Cell reception is great, wifi was ok, better if you sit closer to the hotel.

Seems to be the only dispersed camping currently open in this part of Coconino. Easy access off 180 with about a quarter mile of paved road and dirt road spurs that go off it where people park, as well as a larger group parking area to one side. Relatively spaced out so I felt privacy even though I could see many other vehicles. A short walk to a trailhead that has hikes and mountain biking trails into the Forest was a nice perk in the morning. And excellent Verizon service—3 to 4 bars LTE fairly consistently!

Nice and quiet (at least on a Tuesday in the beginning of April). About a million fire pits for parilla. And fortunately, you can camp at this campsite ;-) (see photo). Facilities are old but were clean when we were there. No hot water. 100 pesos per person, 300 pesos for a car / campervan. We tried to pay, but didn't find anybody. The neighbors told us that someone would come by, but nobody came...

We planned to wild camp here or somewhere in the peninsula but were very disappointed. The whole place looks sad and dirty. The tip of the peninsula has been totally washed away by the sea and this spot specifically is really dirty with plastics and ruins. Every single track leads to a private lodge so apart from here it's not possible to wild camp. We asked to sleep at the parking space at Lula's but he didn't let us because he had a client in one cottage. If you decide to visit come with enough time to go back to Inhassoro just in case you're disappointed like us. Keep in mind the road passing through the mangrove is VERY slippery! The one through the beach is fine but only at low tide.
