Instagram: @savannatales | We planned to wild camp somewhere in the peninsula but were very disappointed. The whole place looks sad and dirty. The tip of the peninsula has been totally washed away by the sea. Every single track leads to a private lodge so we asked to sleep at the parking space at Lula's but he didn't let us stay because he had a client in one cottage. And proposed a cottage for 100 USD for 2 people. If you decide to visit come with enough time to go back to Inhassoro just in case you're disappointed like us. Keep in mind the road passing through the mangrove is VERY slippery! The one through the beach is fine but only at low tide. |

caroline.lefler | We spent the night on Verdun Ave right next to the business parking lot and across from some houses. There were a ton a cars parked on the street and no signs about permits. We are in a sprinter van and can be stealthy though. There seem to be plenty of residential areas that you can get away with one night of sleeping. 40 mins from Pinnacles National Park. |

edzepp13 | Tons of construction and not really an RV section at this time. Checked in with security and basically they are not requiring RV owners to do anything but park. We parked in rear of lot just for some additional privacy. Only had one other camper van out there near us! |

amyringrose92 | Stunning spot with great views over the gorge with lots of game coming down to the river to drink. The 2-3km road to get to the camping spot is very steep and a challenging rocky drive.

amyringrose92 | Stunning camping spots along the Runde river under the Fever Trees. We sat out watching hippos, crocs and game and were visited by plenty of elephants in the camp. There are individual thatched bomas at each of the 8 sites. Great ablutions and running water.

amyringrose92 | Amazing secluded location overlooking the river which at this point is more like a gorge. It’s a very challenging, rocky drive down to the campsite so only attempt this if you have a good 4x4 and aren’t in a hurry. |

amyringrose92 | This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in Africa. The bush camp overlooks the river and the stunning sandstone cliffs. You’re totally secluded, we were at least 20km from the nearest person.

kmtrinh | We parked further up the dirt street in front of/on the corner of a house with a giant bougainvillea tree. A sign nearby said 80 pesos but no one ever came to collect. Very close to the bridge & trail to Playa Las Animas - worth the trek! Loud with dogs and music thru the night but can’t complain as it was free. Public bathroom nearby was closed but free banos beside the beach restaurant. On the way out of town, up the steep hill, is an awesome little Paneria selling agua fresca and cheap baked goods. Yummy after the big walk. |

bernbo | We stop at #98 to camp for the night. That spot is on the sandy road ... Next day, the ranger advised us to go closer to the sea and that we can sleep after pole #99 to 103. There is no #104. It is forbidden to camp for the night in Mustang park beaches.

swiperight2life | They sell propane here as well, but they charge you a minimum 2 gallon, we just had to pay double to fill our 1 gallon tank. I’d go somewhere else than here, as they didn’t even tell us that till after they filled our tank. |
