arielleabel91 | Great pull offs to camp passed the Anamas overlook. Bathrooms at the overlook just down the trail. Be aware that you’re on 7 miles of gravel road to get here. Not crazy steep road, nicely graded. A little bumpy. Wouldn’t suggest a larger rig attempt it. Hard to turn around. But our Ford Transit did just fine. |

keith.charpentier | fun spot. we pulled into a private campsite in the woods on a creek. Paid $10 night. They have trails to hike, hot springs for $15, and the ice museum is fun. Lots to do! Sites are dry camping but there is potable water to fill RV tank and a dump. |

travel-stupid | Great spot super quiet, when I was there it was lightly raining for two days. Only saw local fishermen. Who would stop by for a couple hours and walk up the creek. Very clean pit toilet. Great for visiting Craters of the the moon and Ketchum. |

Headrest | Stayed 1 night in class B van and it was fine. There were 3 karate vans in the middle of the parking lot so we got in line with them. Could have parked anywhere really. Real nice Stop & Shop supermarket, clean bathrooms in the morning. Franklin Roosevelt estate is next to the shopping complex. His house, library, stable, gardens, etc well worth the tour. Vanderbuilt's house is just down the road but we didn't have time to visit it. |

4ever2wherever (Margriet & Jan) | An absolute highlight about 30 minutes by train from KL and with good parking space. It is an important religious place for Hindus. There are four caves in total. In the Temple Cave, reached by long stairs, is a busy, colourful Hindu temple. In the Ramayana Cave are images of the Ramayana epic, in the Villa Cave are other images and the Dark Cave, reached from the Ramayana Cave is...dark. Access to the Ramayana Cave and the Villa Cave is MYR 5 each. |

UpJueck | Jep! Exactly as described. This is the place where your paperwork is prepared. It's like a small copy shop out of a garage. Police is on the opposite side of the street. After the security check, go through the yard to the building. Take the right door of the two and walk to the office at the end of the corridor and wave with your documents. Take the seat offered and enjoy the play :) took us 1,5h in total and cost 500.000 Rial per Person. We asked for 45 days, like our original visa but 30 would be maximum. People friendly. |

hourlesslife.com | Our experience here was colored by a freak storm with a tornado in the area (late May). The important thing to know is that it doesn’t take much heavy rain to result in standing water in the field, and there are power lines all around it. In our case, branches started falling on the lines, which were still live, and we had to get out. But assuming your life is normal (as normal as it can be when you’re driving through Central America), you will have a great time here. There is a restaurant on-site with basic food, and the bathrooms there stay open at night. No showers that I know of. There are multiple parking options, but we were there on a busy Sunday (before the storm), so we opted for a corner of the field where we could have some privacy. Everyone on site was very kind, helping us with the damage to our rig and whatever we needed. Caspian loved the swings at the play area. |

t.schneppe | Nice parking lot for about 10 vehicles infront of post office. Very quiet and no wind, because it is surrounded by walls. Felt super safe. Neighbours were totally fine with us staying for one night. Direct view on the ocean. Little traffic until 9 pm because of mailbox, but no one was bothered. There is a small Coffee Bar next to the Post Office which opens at 7:30 am. Place is getting busy from around that time. No recommandation for bigger RV‘s due to size and attention. Great Place for everyone staying in a car or small camper. Infront of the bar are some tables to sit at, we‘ve done our cooking there after bar had closed. Also a nice shelter in case it rains. You can plug in charger in Post Office (door is open all night). |

Snow & Curt | Everything as previously noted... EXCEPT the price is now $10 pp/pn. We indulged in a 75 minute full body massage for $25 and it was great! There is potable water in the camper parking area! Showers are still hot... the bathroom/shower is about a 150 foot walk up a steep driveway. Also... wifi does not reach the parking area. We recommend this place for a relaxing night! |
