bm.aroundtheworld | Amazing Campground, with 12 spot, not close one to each other, half of them are on the river side. Still 5$ per night, possibility to be 2 vehicles max 8 persons per spot. No water (except the river one), no t-mobile service. Level spots, and 2 toilets. Firepit ant table for every spot. Acces road on perfect conditions.

rndmhkr | The road was pretty much how originally described - steep and gravel covered. Able to easily navigate it with our AWD lifted Sienna. There were a few vehicles at pull offs along the way, but we ended up at this one and had it all to ourselves. Big enough for a second car or a bigger van. There were a few spots along the way that were near hiking trailheads and signed as no camping. Only one car passed by after we set up. We were able to stream Netflix. We only stayed one night. |

rndmhkr | We arrived on 05/29/2022 and the gate at the road leading to the pond and small parking lot was closed so we stayed in Honey Hollow Road. |

molinandrea55 | Really nice vegan/vegetarian pizzeria. We ordered the “super vegan” and it was very tasty. Prices are between $8-12 for the pizzas (medium size). They have focaccia and calzones too. Very nice staff. |

eurostatus90 | Nice spot secluded from the forest road but you are close enough to hear passing cars (one vehicle passed all day/night). Has a nice fire ring and can fit 2 vehicles maybe 3. this spot in the fall would be awesome.

Instagram do balneário: @balneariosouza |

chloebm8 | Super fun drive in we moved a tree out of the way and had to try our luck getting up a super steep hill but the site was well worth it! Funky little crater like camp ground perfect for dirt biking and filled with volcanic rock. I would recommend high clearance for the way up but other than that super calm and smooth ride. The camp itself is very level. Chloe, Jake and Ollie (our ‘82 vanagon) |

erynann | This road scared the sh-t out of me, but there’s no turning around so you’re just in it once you start. I then wasn’t able to find the flat part, because it’s up a very steep slope that looked like a slight bump at the top and didn’t even look like anything else was up there. I parked down the road a bit in a tiny shoulder, not able to drive any more of this road to the further sites shown on the map. Later I found this place on foot but didn’t move up to it. Still pretty here. |

Les voyages de Jocelyn | I did it on a Suzuki DR650 up to Mejicana and up to the mirador of station 8. You have to cross the rio amarillo more than 15 times, not easy. I went up only because 3 enduro guys were going up as well (on a Saturday). I would not have risked it alone. Be careful with a motorbike. It’s very cold and super windy up there in May. Be sure there is no rain or snow in the days before because the crossings might be imposible or the road partially destroyed. Starting in Chilecito no later than 9hr is a good time. Took me a full day. Gate was staffed on a week-end. 500 pesos. |

mollyvanderlip123 | A busy spot in the warmer months, it seems. There was a car with a boat on a trailer blasting music around 1:30am on Sunday night - maybe just due to the busyness of Memorial Day weekend. River is nice and cold, took a refreshing morning dip! One other overlander was there when I was. So, not too quiet but the nice river made up for it. Cheers! |

Lucas_Meets_World | We arrived here after dark and the road to the nearby "gravelpit" seemed too bad to try at night. So we stayed on the side of the road in front of the closed gate to the national park. Quite and peaceful night. Weather changed from pouring rain and dense fog to clear night sky within 30min and we had great views in the morning. |
