As usual ground tents can use a nice lawn and rooftop tents use the parking lot but the owner said he would change it soon. They asked 10,000 RWF ppn. Really next to the road.

Small off road carpark/field privately owned, with gated access. £10 overnight stay or £20 for 24 hours. Pay at the house next door. No amenities, and dogs welcome. Very peaceful and tranquil.

There’s a small parking lot in front of an old train station at this small village. Spent one quiet and safe night. The rout is very pretty.

A fantastic spot, from the road it doesn’t look special but don’t let that fool you. As mentioned the bathrooms are of a very high standard. You have direct access to the beach which is good for swimming and a reasonable surf beach too. Beach got busy on the weekend but in a really pleasant way. Owner/manager is really helpful and attentive Cost was R$60 for two per person.

Basic accommodation, ok for cyclists has there are really few wildspots after Ocros (on the road to Ayacucho)
We paid 30 soles for a doble room.
No wifi here but free wifi on the main plaza. Some tiendas on the plaza too.
The owner doesn't live here but you could call those numbers to join her :
+51967561433 or +51 931 013 436
She also manages the restaurant on the ground floor (closed on Sundays so not tested)
We could put our bikes on the first floor, but you can put it in the restaurant too.

Es gratis. Es una gasolinera amplia y muy tranquila de noche. Hay 3 restaurantes a la par entonces hay wifi y servicios sanitarios disponibles si se consume algo.

It’s free. It has a big parking space, very quite at night. There are 3 restaurants so there are restrooms and Wi-Fi available if you buy something to eat.

We spent 5 relaxing days at Utopia. It‘s very quiet and we had some great sunsets. We could do some work on our truck and use the washing machine (ARS 250 per kilo).
The food cooked by Martina (ARS 1400 per person and meal) was delicious. We had 1 x spare ribs and 1 x lasagna. On our last evening we had asado (ARS 1700 per person). It always was more than enough for us. Additionally Johan brews his own Ale (ARS 450 per bottle).
Since we’re self contained we only used the outside shower in the bushes (couldn’t heat our own water due to technical problems) but not the pit toilet. We could dig a hole on the other side of the street to dump our toilet.
The WiFi signal was weak at our site (at the vine yard) but pretty strong at the outdoor kitchen.
The price for camping is USD 5 (currently ARS 1000) pp and (if needed) ARS 250 per day to connect the van to electricity.

All in all we paid ARS 25000 for 6 nights (2 person in a small big rig), electricity, washing, food and beer.

If you’re travelling with a big rig, contact Martina upfront via WhatsApp since they can‘t accommodate bigger sizes and even the smaller ones depend on time of year (weather conditions).

This Hostel is the best option for backpackers ,I was amazed at the beauty of the place here,it is completely on the sea with a beautiful view during sunrise, especially during the tides.
It is also close to the main road and to almost all the activities that you can do in zanzibar.
The staff are very friendly and nice, the food is delicious and the place is clean, 8€ per night with free wifi and breakfast, the price is very cheap compared to the services.

Mediocre camp site as it is fairly outdated. But fine for me. Paid 16 euro for 1 car rooftop tent 1
Person. There were some stray dogs but actually very friendly and did not bother me at all. You can use the premises and garden of the hotel which are quite nice. The camping is secured by a large gate. All good here

Great place, great value. Wonderful pool, very cold and refreshing, and unfortunately with many floating bugs.
Big space for camping, with security. Incredibly fast internet at restaurant/bar/pool/reception area: what took 8h overnight at African Bush Camp was done in 60 sec here. Plus fast Mascom at campsite. Good value.

Price still 100 Pula pp. Pretty basic campsite. Nothing special.
Ablution very basic and run down. E.g. lid of the toilette is missing.
For electricity they connect you cable with one of the small houses.
You camp on a grassy meadow (a bit uneven).
Wifi gives the friendly manager / works at reception.

Free disperses camping near Joshua Tree NP.
We were here 2 nights. Lots of wide open spaces to set up for the night. Great for sunsets and stargazing. If you go in further you will get away from the light pollution from some of the campsites at the start.
It was very windy both nights we were there.

We stayed on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend, only two other vans. No knock but there was a security vehicle in the parking lot. A little road noise but nothing that kept us up from sleeping

lots of options on this road. The local police however strictly patrol parking in designated sites. we tried parking on grass adjacent to a full site and got issued a $55 parking ticket. If we had known there are 3 other camping areas just 1/4 mile farther down the road we would have kept moving. we settled in "bumblebee meadow #4" and had no problems. outhouses, fire rings, and river access. great spot that allows camping up to 14 days.

Another pull off on Casitas Pass Rd with an incredible view. Right off the road so your standard road noise applies but nothing unbearable.

Flat, rather large and can accommodate multiple big rigs.

I don't see any no parking signs only a littering fine sign.

An eco retreat in the jungle north of Coban.
Accommodation, walks, swimming holes, waterfalls, tubing, a swimming pool.
A fairly rough road to get here. The owner suggested 2hrs from Coban 35kms away. It took us 1hr on light motorcycles. Possible in cars ,trucks and campers with good clearance and patience .Worth the effort.
