Hoje é feriado local e a Secretaria estava fechada.

As described by others. But note should be taken that there seems to be little if any control at the entrance in preventing any non camping members of the public from entering and using the site to picnic etc thereby denying access to some spots for any campers who unlike the public have paid to stay and use the braais, ablutions etc. We didn't have any security issues but security is a possible problem especially at night. Keep your stuff locked up securely! Very friendly staff, nice restaurant, fair wifi and a reasonable fee for camping.

This is a motorcycle hobbyist / professional stuntdriver, who took apart his bikes at least a couple of times. He knows his stuff well and can almost tell the history of the bike by tasting the oil.

Works in evening hours besides his regular job.
kind dude, but no word of english so keep google translate ready.

I had to replace my clutchplates (brought them with me), oilchange with filter, coolant leak repair and flushing the coolant system and repair on my sidestand for 260 dollars, and I could help too.
Everything was done in 1 evening.

I advise you to contact him first for help on Whatsapp.

Came in after dark. Nobody was here. Nice spot right off HWY 90 behind the fire station. Nice clean restrooms.

Campground at the Red Mountain National Park - entrance to the park is 15 tl per car and staying overnight at the campgrounds is 65 tl per vehicle.
In the weekend locals come here to barbeque and hang out - no loud music litter when we were here. There are bathrooms, h
basic showers and picnic tables with barbeque facilities. Nice place to stay, good view of the valley and loads of hiking trails! Around 1300 meters so a great way to escape the heat and no mosquitoes (!!!)

Hwy 108 towards Elliott Lake on the east side just N off Hwy 17 . Easy to locate with GPS, large area fit for a few RV's. Some grass for tents. There was one RV that seems to have made it a summer spot with an ATV parked and covered and a large wood pile near by.

Nice flat parking lot behind the restaurant, next to a beautiful green space beside the water. Had dinner at the restaurant and then asked if ok to stay. (Dinner was ok... restaurant was packed, servers run off their feet, so waited a long time. Luckily it was a beautiful evening so nice to sit patiently on the patio.)

Great place to stay, close by the nice holiday village and beautiful beach. The promenade they made is beautiful, with playgrounds and sports. Toilets and showers available, but you have to pay. Cold shower outside is for free. Many overlanders here, we felt safe.

Well, had a non peaceful night due to late arrivals chopping wood from 1:30-3:30am. Also, train came through at least twice during the night after midnight. We were in spot 4. Having said that, it is a beautiful and peaceful campground. Locals tend to park over by spot 4 to fish and walk dogs. Would recommend camping by the bridge in the #20s spots to avoid wood choppers and locals. Camp host was super friendly. Bathrooms with pit toilets, potable water, trash and boat launch and small beach along the Missisippi. Credit card kiosk at entrance, no cash accepted. $12/ night.

This spot is walking distance to restaurants and Safeway. There is some grass for dogs. It is a recreational center, so there are beach volleyball courts, baseball diamonds, etc. The parking lot lights did not come on at night, so it was dark and quiet for sleeping. There was one other RV there. The lot is mostly used for parking trucks with boat trailers. It was a good place to stop for the night in beautiful Kenora.

Well maintained road until you cross the cattle-guard the it had rained a bit and it was 4x4 puddles in every dip. I didn’t get to go past the first spots but they weren’t level and I’m in a ford transit. We went on down the road. The town of Pogosa is 10 minutes away and three bars Verizon while there.

We slept here overnight and used the restrooms in the morning! Only one other car in the lot with us. Noisy though and if you’re tired like we were from driving no problem getting good night sleep! Ladies Restrooms we’re a mess though.

We drove this road with a 5,5t camper with basic 4x4 and had no difficulties. There are many river crossings some with sand, do.e with a little water left. During rainy season this road will be a bigger challenge for sure. The landscape along the river is beautiful!

Beautiful, quiet on a Thursday night, green in the summer with lush lawns and trees. Lovely shower rooms that had A/C! We could pay in the am at the visitor’s center instead of cash in the envelope. A lot of spots are not level, but most are spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

there where Iranians on the other spots, so we searched on.
we reached the spot with our heavy motorcycle, but there is some soft gravel you have to conquer.
no one can see you from the small roads, it's completely hidden. other places we found where next to.the gravel road so we liked this more. it's a good flat spot

I highly recommend this mechanic: detailed consultation, quick response, honest, and fair price. They're knowledgeable and always made sure we know exactly what they were doing and replacing. Francisco speaks great English and even gave us suggestions for our onward travels.

we stopped by the fishing village in September but everything was closed up for the season and there aren't any interpretive signs. It was a nice spot though. A sign says there are guided walks at 2pm in July and August.

Forest cg, very nice! No fee. Only 3 wooded sites, on a large lake, very rustic. Free but 14 day limit. Don’t overstay your welcome. Don’t be that creepy person who lives here. Clean pit toilet but pack out your trash, please. Also, a great 2.5 mile lake hiking trail but it gets very narrow and over grown after 1.5 miles so we turned around. A canoe put in but no boat ramp.

Free cg in Superior National Forest, 4 small sites on a lake, rustic and quiet. Spaced apart so it is private. 14 day limit. Pit toilet, table and ring. No trash pick up, pack it out. Oh, and a small boat ramp! Very narrow road in for you big riggers who will still check it out. Save your time, do not do it.

Hwy 108 just before Elliot Lake, On. Good size area for all types of machines, RV's, campers, tents. if adventurous can find a few spots for small tents along drive to boat launch which is 3.5km. Two others camping in area but all far apart we did not know they were there til we explored around a bit. Unfortunately some garbage left by previous campers/boaters as you enter first open area.

As others have said. When we were here the river was very high and thus we parked on the breakwater. Nobody else around. But a great spot nevertheless.

Great mobile signal also!
