Not really any place to pitch up your tent and be protected by the strong wind. Furthermore, the shepherd could show up any time. Alpacas are very close to the place. As it was late to keep going further, we found a small spot for a two persons tent right behind the water pump on the other side of the track.

Took the shortest, most direct road to the abandoned houses. We parked at the one furthest north. Nice beach but a lot of cockroaches; they didn't bother us, though. We were the only ones there and had a nice time even with high winds and lots of flies. The flies died down after sunset. No cell signal. Free!

Lovely place to camp a few nights, your staying next to Len and Margrit's home. There is a private shower and bathroom, a fridge if needed. We camped in our tent with the motorcycles next to it. Paid 300 Pesos a night.

Table price is 30 sole for a small single room, bathroom attached. Simple but fine. I negotiated to 25 pen.
Strong and stable WiFi. No kitchen. Drinking water available after asking. I checked around, seems like 25 sole is the cheapest in this community. The senior lady, the owner, is very nice just like our grandmas.

I found Maritza's husband that told me that they are not receiving campers since the beggining of the pandemic.

We arrived around 7pm and the bathrooms were already closed. In the morning (around 10am) the bathrooms were still closed and no one around. The internet was not working either.

at 50 bob/ person not the cheapest for bolivian standerds but there are bot many alternatives around la paz. the place is great though: nice warm showers, kitchen and good wifi + Marcos and Arawi are super friendly. Marcos will help with any technical issue if he can, very helpfull and good mechanic!

Perfect place to stay if you pass by Kenema ! Quiet, in a beautiful park. We stayed on the staff parking. Gardians during the night stay on the parking, not too noisy. During day, few people are crossing the place but not really annoying. No fixed price but they expected a donation before you live.

Super nice family runs the hotel. It's very clean and has a beautiful terrace with a very good view. No bad smell coming from the toilets for us. Still the same price : 40 or 50 soles depending if you want private bathroom. The shower is really hot and big. Big secured parking, even for bikes.

This place is great! We had ice cream and a banana split, so good on a hot day. Service was excellent. The story about Edison, his family and the Baja 1000 is even better.

Blue hotel and restaurant on the river mouth. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served - seafood is excellent. Popular with local surfers, expat community and Lomé-dwellers at the weekend. Owned by a famous Togolese singer (Afia Mala) and her sister. It's a beautiful, blue, calm place with great sunsets and a cool breeze.

Also have surfboards to rent and offer a great boat trip up the river if you want to learn a lot about the local area and voodoo. Nick (manager) is absolutely wonderful and is a treasure trove of stories and local info. Has lived many lives in different parts of Africa. He offers a warm welcome to overlanders (and everyone else)!

Stayed here and on a few of the neighboring streets in my stealth truck camper during my stay in Arcata. Felt safe the whole time and was never bothered.

Great location away from everything. Locals come to swim but don’t mind the camping. Beautiful scenery, but you don’t see the volcano from this angle. It’s riverbed so it’s very rocky, great roof tent or van location. A bit windy all through the night.

Fairly long drive through Arches on an unpaved road, but easily doable even in a sedan. Once you cross the cattle guard, if you go left, it gets a bit much for a sedan after a little while, but I still got far enough for complete privacy, not that it mattered since I was the only one there anyway.

Less that $13 to fill a 5 gallon propane tank. Best price around!

WOW! This place is awesome! Obviously visited not during peak season, had the whole place to ourselves! We choose to stay in the gravel parking lot once immediately arriving due to the weather. Stayed for 2 nights without ANY issues! I worked during the day, had the local Sheriffs deputy stop by and chat - he was just making sure everything was okay.

Did rides both morning and evening - gravel and MTB. Was an awesome place to get off grid for several days!

We were the first customers in the saison. Nice place and very sympathetic and helpful staff. We could buy some Sausages and coal for a few US-Dollar (We had no more Pesos) and enjoy a BBQ evening.

They don't accept overlanders anymore. Finally, the man at the gate let us in because it was late.

all the other places couldn't fill our 11 kg bottle. Carlos could! You need an adapter! He filled even our second one, which only was half empty. very helpful Guy. we payed 1400 Peso for 11kg.

Gret place for going to Arches and Canyonlands. Fire pits, easy road, and beautiful sun sets. Is also very clean!

Interesting place to visit; we stayed over night. It's rather cold and windy but beautifull and I can recomend to
any travelers who visit Bolivia.

5000cop for the night behind the hotel which is a little away from the truck area. restaurant food is decent.
