Two compact spots in the shade along an access road to some farms. It is past a concrete fording place. The creek has quite clear water, it is accessible but the bank is a bit steep. Claro and Tigo coverage. Quiet road, only some moto and occasional car. About 500m from main road which you can barely hear.

As name suggests - small hostel for riders, gated parking, kitchen and patio area, shared bathrooms-hot showers. We shared a twin room ~7,000ARG (for 2) but we stayed several nights so negotiated 6k pn. Google says breakfast included but reality was were provided selection of hot drinks. Short walk from huge shopping centre with Western Union, supermarket food courts etc. New owner, very friendly lady.

The new owners just opened up in the early summer. They have transformed the place. Ignore any old comments as they are not applicable. The sites are super long, wide and level. They have nice gravel.
The somewhat occasional noisy traffic dies down completely at night. There are essentially 360 degree views of the local and distant mountains. I understand it is 10 degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer. This has to be one of the most pleasant roomy campgrounds I have ever been at.
No kids screaming, no teens on ATVs or other annoyances. The owners are still putting the final touches on the place.

Alejandro and the staff at overlanding embassy are very welcome and honest people. They made the process of selling our car stress free. We were able to clean our vechile inside and out in preparation for storage in their warehouse.

They are genuine people who share Overlanding and travel stories and passion for restoring Landcruisers. The service great and we camped out in their front yard for three nights. Highly reccomend their services and friendliness and can’t wait for them to come to Australia to return the favor.

Alejandro’s dad also showed me how to polish a vechicle and they showed us around thier work shop. They had clean toilets and showers.

The owners are so nice and helpful, the lady shared her hotspot with me to check something on my phone. Also, they have bread and a lot of other things.

Don’t turn down Vanderhorst Street with an RV! It’s nearly impossible to turn around—you have to back out of this dead end road that’s more like a driveway.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. And if you come in the fall, the talemina drive is very memorable. Check-in for campground is done at the lodge. There is super fast free wifi inside the lodge. (No password required, building is open 24 hrs). But there is no wifi in the campground. FREE warm showers in campground, with flush toilets.

Check out from campground is 3 pm. Which is probably a good thing as a few days it’s been SUPER foggy here until noon.

$44/night + $6/night "surcharge" for all "recreation vehicles", which seems to include all campers, vans, trailers.... Seems rather expensive for dry camping. They offer free showers but the restroom bldg is an unheated brick bldg with an open entrance with no door, so it's going to be awfully cold having a shower in November!

Wide open desert w lots of random blm land related to transcontinental railroad. The gps coordinates are for sun tunnels (on Google maps).

Cool “sculptures” that are hard to get to (almost all roads in are rough/washboardy).

No idea if camping is officially permitted at this spot but there aren’t any signs saying you can’t and didn’t see another soul all afternoon and evening.

No amenities whatsoever other than great desert views (and solid Verizon lte).

we stopped here for a shower, new owner is super nice, and the bar/restaurant looks amazing. Nice camping spots right next to the bay, hookups if you need it. He's putting a lot of work into the place, I'm sure it will be even better in a few months. Great hot clean showers.
