full disclosure, I'm not actually at the exact location but further down the road about a mile. mile. there's these little turn-ins that you can pull your camper or van or car in. You're not getting a class A down here. decent enough. Verizon LTE it's very quiet and looks like the flowers are starting to bloom. I wouldn't venture off the Forest road or the shortcrased area of the camp due to the unbelievably large amount of ticks in Michigan. but the Forest road goes forever so there's plenty of walking one can do. for some reason I can't take pictures which is driving me crazy because I guess I have Android 14 and it doesn't allow it?

Good for hiking to Mount Tahtali. Good for tents and small cars. Good view.

Stayed over 2 nights ariving at 21:30 in a VW camper. Not to hard to find level ground in the large parking area. A few locals and park users around in the mormning. Everyone was frendly and didn't give us any touble. Bad mosquitos

Ran on the trails through the beautiful forest and swam in the lake in the morning.

Togo border, Lome ATTENTION!! Since last 01/05 they only accept e-visa, they reject any other visa. It takes 5 days.
In Benin exactly the same and in Cameroon the same thing only evisa (it is no longer done in Calabar, Nigeria)

We only stayed for one night, but had a great dinner and breakfast together with the hosts. You can easily park your car in front of their main building, clean bathroom and hot shower inside. 1000MZN per person per night, fast and reliable WiFi included, dinner and breakfast are extra.

top place for a night or 2 oasis of peace among the cared for neglected animals. It is more of a campsite with cabanas. not much room for large campers. There is a restaurant with fresh tilapia, which are in the ponds here. And, not unimportant in this hot place...a swimming pool with TOP natural spring water!!!

smal campsite, difficult to reach without 4wd when whet. But when dry no problem. we didn't saw any animals. there is just 1 sendero of 1.3 km.
You can book tours for kano, bushwalks, do a yerba tour, and visit a waterfall. very good attached restaurant.

Nice Campsite with very beautiful showers and absolution Block. Good Restaurant. The prices for Camping for Vehicles shorter then 6m are 15USD pppn. Longer Vehicles 30USD pppn.

It is a very good place and 60 soles (1 person for double room bed) is not expensive for the services. Good and clean bed, hot shower, good wifi, a lot of place to do some bicycle cleaning if needed. The owners are really nice

This Cracker Barrel closes at 7 pm. Several other cars, vans and campers stayed the night. Good Verizon signal.

This is where you park and hike the El Pilon. You can also swim here in the Plata.

This is the parking lot where all tours come for sunset. You could park here and enjoy tge views after everyone leaves.

Perfect place for a good nite sleep. We were Saturday night and no noise at all. The WM closes at 8pm. I recommandand.

This tour is a great experience and very well organised! We got an authentic impression of the life on the islands now and of Inka and PreInka culture and traditions. we recommend to All! Vidal is a great guide.

Many acres of lakefront wild camping available. Pick any spot. The formal campground is up on the hill and is grassy and nice too. I checked with a local fisherman and he said people camp all over all the time out here. Easy to access and room for big rigs. Decent cell service too!

After the wine tasting, we were invited to stay here for the night. It has a lot of space to park any kind of car.
Very clean bathrooms with hot showers (hot and cold water are reversed), wifi and silence.

A really charming place! The owners are very friendly and explained everything (also in english). We did the wine tasting for 45 USD: 5 wine, 1 sparkling wine with a cheese/meat plate.

The traffic from the road is not very loud when you set yourself far enough backwards. How many trucks are still arriving in the evening and start early in the morning, that is, of course, the other topic. We had a little bit bad luck. For us it was no more and not less than a place at a gas station.

Nice, pretty beach with great views. Long pull-off area with multiple entrances through a fence. Can see spots where people could easily set up a tent for the night.

Lovely hot springs in a very beautiful area; the walk in is magical. Pools are cooler at the beginning and hotter at the end, allowing you to choose the perfect temperature. Facilities are very clean. The cafe on site is highly recommended. Everyone is super friendly. It is a very kid-friendly location.

Great selection of fresh and non perishable food, as well as wines etc - but, no prices on anything so made it hard for us to want to purchase on a budget. 1 packet of fresh mushrooms was $5700 CLP. Went to Melero shopping centre afterwards as was more comfortable knowing pricing 😅

!Caution! I left my bike in the „secure parking“ area with side bags on. Had tools, tubes and emercency stuff in there. Got stolen over night. Ok hostel but take everything in to your room!
