This campground has everything you need if you don’t feel like looking too hard. Hot water, common area dome, very clean, fast wifi, water, grass to set up tent. But it’s literally in the middle of the town, under the street lights and you can hear all the barking dogs and noisy neighbors.

parking for rvs to the side of the restaurant. Delicious food and lovely store. Garbage pickup early in the morning, some trafic noise. Fine spot to overnight.

Descansamos aca por dos noches. Los empleados muy amables. Baños simples pero limpios, solo el de hombre tiene una ducha. En frente esta el Mirante da Sereia donde hay macacos y la playa es hermosa. Los empleados muy amables.

It's managed by a family, who lives in the house. Secure parking for motorcycles and 2 cars. In a pleasant and safe neighbourhood, with a big supermarket nearby. You can choose your type of accomodation: small ones 1st floor, bigger ones upstairs, with or without AC/heater, with or without private bathroom (hot water) The small rooms were already taken, so I got one with AC and private bathroom for 25k pesos/day (price was 30k, but for 2 days Andrea gave me a better deal). It's 30k with breakfast. Price for rooms without AC were the same. Very good wifi. A small fridge, towell heater and electric kettle available in the room. Even in early November, room gets hot during the day (fine temperature during the night). I only discovered they have rooms with shared bathroom after I'd already paid for mine, so better to ask first, maybe they're better priced.

Does accept credit cards, very clean bathroom.

Beautiful camping area by the river. We paid the equivalent of 6USD for the two of us and our RTT. Not sure if this is a good deal or not bc we usually wild camp, but we felt it was 100% worth it just because the spot was so nice. The guy at the front said dogs aren’t supposed to be allowed, but then he immediately said it was fine anyway without any back and forth :) If you camp near the front, there’s water, electric and bathrooms, but more people around. We opted to camp on the far side of the property by the river on a large flat grassy area for more privacy. We had the place all to ourselves back there, which was perfect.

I didn’t know you can overnight here but there where no signs against it and I stayed 1night with 2 RVs. No one bothered us, felt safe.

Opening hours 08.00-16.00 on weekdays and 09.00-13.00 on Saturday. I could pick up 50.000 pesos (€170) I think maybe you can even pick up more if they have it available.

Ypf gas station it was safe we stayed one day

Lovely family with a beautiful property to stay on. Valdamir, Faran, and their 3 kids are excited to welcome you. Faran is originally from Nicaragua but worked as a private chef in California for many years so can prepare you an amazing meal or smoothie for a reasonable price.

Huge level concrete pad for parking and camping any sized rig. So much abundance in the garden. Dog friendly. $5 USD a night for now but they are working on building the property up so the price would increase as they add more services.

They also have a beautiful guest house you could rent for your stay.

Much easier route than trying from Malosa/Zomba side. Approximately 12km from Liwonde along the Ntaja road, immediately after crossing a wide bridge turn south here onto a dirt road. Shortly after there is a bridge being rebuilt but the sandy river bed could be easily crossed during dry season. Continue straight for ~5km on a reasonable road until it finishes. There is a 'fee' to visit/park the car at the houses and from there it is a <500m walk.

This will be the new location of the Senegal Embassy. It is not open yet thought as of Nov 2022.
New Mali embassy is just next to it and is open.

Place offers motel rooms as well as camp spots. Room for large RV’s with full hook-ups, sewer electricity and water. We only needed a tent site which cost us $40 being near Niagara I suppose. Not sure of full hook up fees. Not a lot of options as many campgrounds already closed for season (we arrive early November). They offer free WiFi and we still had 2 bars with Verizon without it. Fairly quite despite being near main road (we also landed before dense fog hit). Has flush toilet and nice hot shower. If need a meal there is clubhouse brothers restaurant down the street. I got $5 breakfast and was good.

Greater alternative to front parking. quiet place, opens at 6 am and closes at 6 pm. after hours just call or knock on the gate and it opens. You can come and go until 10 pm. you can sleep in the car. if you need some water he can provide it for you. 15 soles a day.

Turn off the Mangochi-Chiponde road at Majuni trading centre and 8km along a dirt road you'll reach a large tobacco estate where you can park.

Easy access water and drain next to the velo rail

Most of the road is paved, only the last mile is a bit bumpy. Simple & quiet, only a few spots. No trash. No service or fees off-season (October to May). Water is closed during winter. Some service on Verizon but the internet speed is not that great.

As said, still accessible. You can be hidden if you go left inside the place. Passed a good night here. Good MTN connexion
