nink715 | Very noisy, right next to the highway, a busy road. The truck airbrakes in the middle of the night are fun. |

David white | This place was closed by owner. I messaged with them today, says it can be booked on Hipcamp for a fee. Unfortunately it seems some of us iOverlanders damaged his property and we’re disrespectful to his neighbors. Too bad the bad actors ruin things like this. |

ottenweinerts.blog | Small place right after the toll station direction south, there was a construction site and some trucks parked there as well. Not too much traffic during the night but you hear every truck breaking for the toll station. It was midnight and we had no other option. |

Kombichileiros | We spent a night here, as the municipal camping was closed, and the town square was very busy, we decided to stay overnight here for being 24h, having bathrooms and good internet. Passamos uma noite aqui, como o camping municipal estava fechado, e a praça da cidade estava bem movimentada, decidimos pernoitar aqui por ser 24h, ter banheiros e boa internet. |

casa.edmondson | There is 1 ‘no overnight parking/camping’ sign and it looks like they are about to add more. I think this place is often used by the homeless, and we observed some confrontation about it. You may want to consider other plans in the future… |

camikayadair | no RV dump! your mapping app might say it has one but it doesn't. your map app won't tell you that there is an RV dump down the road at the storage facility. go left out of this parking lot then take your first right and the storage place has RV dump, $12. |

lyndsay1986 | Great place to relax and enjoy the wifi and purchase some crafts and things that are hand made from residents in Denio. The ladies that work at the library are also the best and super friendly. |

Can walk right onto the beach with key to locked gate. Several different sized cabañas for rent with kitchen, full bath. Wi-Fi near entrance. Poor cell signal down in camping area, but good higher on property. Non-Chilean tourist price 10,000pp. |

twilssens | If you want to get immersed into the local culture, this is the place to be! We were welcomed by the host Debbie and Payson, one of the volunteering teachers at the orphanage school. As we arrived at noon, we started our visit with the local dish ‘Nsima’. They showed us around at the orphanage school and leaded us to the local traditional healer. We visited a typical mud brick house of one of the villagers and they explained us how it was made and maintained. Then we helped the villagers to pump up water and to prepare maize flower to cook our diner. Debbie and Payson were very hospitable and friendly and they answered all our questions about the local village life. After dinner we could enjoy the local dancing and drumming performed by the villagers. It was an amazing experience! At night we could experience a night in a typical mud brick hut. This is a unique opportunity to get to know the local village life and spend some time with the locals (which you otherwise only drive by)! We would advise it to everyone! You can go to the lodge with your car and you can even sleep in your car as well if you want, but we would definitely advise to spend a night in a mud brick house! 😉 The coordinates are not 100% correct. Please check their website or contact them to get the right direction. |

vivianaldridge | Showers are $17.00 now. Overnights ok but this place is by the freeway and a very busy intersection. Feels safe enough. There are overhead lights and a Dennys. I parked my small van along the fence by the truck car wash. |

sunflashcc | 6 great spots. multiple trees for a hammock and several spots for a tent. If you are using a tent, you could probably just park your car by the restrooms and walk the short 30 yards into the level trees if the 6 spots are occupied.

karlalorenna | Nice quiet spot. Well out of the way but not too far out to feel stranded. About 7 minutes of bumpy road with large pot holes but my promaster 3500 made it well enough with no major drama on a typically rainy OR day. Zero cell reception for Verizon fyi. |
