Nothing for high BigRigs (approx. 3m and higher). At the entrance, a low-hanging cable blocks the driveway and half-height trees in the driveway.

Nothing for high BigRigs. The entrance gate is a maximum of 3m high and at the driveway there is a camel thorn in the curve with low-hanging branches, which you can hardly avoid.

Just before the reception two thorny bushes scratching higher vehicles. A separate gate at the beginning of the driveway will be opened for BigRigs (truck campers). From there good access for larger and higher vehicles without any problems. There are now VIP-sites with their own toilet and shower. Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff. The VIP-sites are ZAR 190 pppn.

Lots of space in the front lot because everyone else parks under the store. You can't get into the lot if you're traveling west so I had to pass it and turn around to get in. There is no passthrough to the front from behind the store either. The neighborhood roads are wide enough for a big rig unless someone parks stupidly and of course the streets are in poor condition. I wouldn't call this town "eerie" but it has an off-season, industrial feel.
I parked close to Starbucks for the wifi and didn't talk to Walmart about security. I have two scary dogs with me that help with security. There was a nice breeze around sunset. The lot definitely needs a facelift and the litter cleaned up but it's fine for a single night. Walmart closes at 11pm.

On our way to Big Bend. We parked our truck camper beside the amphitheater and it was lovely and a very large parking area. No one bothered us, we were the only ones here. It’s very quiet here. No posted sign for no overnight parking or park hours although there is a gate at the driveway.

the sheriff's patrol this lot now every single night between 11pm and 2am. The gym is open 24 hrs but this is no longer a viable place for an overnight. the parking lots around it are expanding for an urgent care clinic and a restaurant...I suspect the boondocking is simply no longer going to be welcome. too many people behaved very poorly and abused this option

Super quiet clean and seems safe with other RVs scattered near. Great sunset but windy. We just parked to block the wind and still could sit out in our camp chairs. No problem in our Promaster van 2wD but it was dry.

The gasstation has a little tap for drinking water. In the right side of the gasstation you have two tiny building. In between there is the tap close to the ground.
Filled my water bottle here as cyclist.

We stayed at the parking of Surfers Paradise. The owners are so frendly, Italo is Brazilian, and Sandra is from Panama.

Cons: No-see-ums will shred you if you think you're going to wear t-shirt & shorts without using "Deep Woods Off." No sewer at campsites, only electric and water - and not all have that. 12 minute drive into town (Cedar Key) to get necessities you may have forgotten. (no store close by). Most sites are not level. It's first come first serve - no reservations.
Pros: Remote small campground! Beautifully situated with gorgeous views of the bay. Shell Mound trails and small boardwalk just .25 mile down the road - you can access the trail on the other side of the road in front of the campground! Extremely quiet during the week, a bit louder on the weekends. Gail at the front desk is friendly, makes you feel at home, and is awesome!.Hiking, biking, kayaking, boat ramp, it's all here!

Some spectacular cliffs and rock formations, plus pleasant waterfalls, and worth the pretty minor 20R in my opinion.

Green lawns and big stands. Amenities are fixed. Bit expensive for driving the long bad road. Nice, been here done that. Rains in the evening and sunshine in the morning..Pathways muddy when raining.

Didn't visit but did camp at nearby Wonder View, which is free. A few people told me that the two views are very similar, which looking at the topography map makes sense. It's the edge of an escarpment so it's not that dramatic, just a big wide view down to the hills and plains below.
My advice - save your money here, go to Wonder View and spend a little on a souvenir there. That way you get the same experience and money goes to locals instead.

Large car park belonging to Tesco, but managed by YourParkingSpace. Free for first 3 hours when shopping, pay to use for up to 24 hours via app or website. £6.60 for between 5 and 24 hours. Chain stores nearby include Tesco (food, clothing, fuel), M&S, Pets at Home, Hafords, LIDL, ALDI, Kwik Fit. Town centre and harbourside within easy 5 minute walk. Ferry terminal close by.
WiFi may be available from Tesco store, but didn't check as strong cell service in car park.
In-store cafe and toilets open 0700 to 2300 Mon to Sat, and 0800 to 2000 Sun.
Parking for longer vehicles by way of drive through double spaces - many of which are level.

a rare wide spot beside the fenced Klaarstrom-Willowmore Road. A small road leads approx. 1km to this quiet spot in front of a gate. There are 2 abandoned huts behind the gate.
Not the best place for a groundtent. lots of ants on the ground.

An excellent location next to Livingstone airport… the hosts are incredibly kind.. ready to help you… we put our truck in storage.. Security and large hangar.. David offers to drop us off at the airport.. there are very comfortable and very clean rooms.. we recommend this place

Very impressive waterfall. Now 16R to get in. Not much else to see but at least it's cheap.
If you don't fancy paying, there is a free path into the falls area about 100m along the road towards Graskop. Hop the crash barrier and you should see it.

Car park with lake view. Just outside Port Kembla Sailing Club. Talked to the owners and it was ok to stay overnight at the car park outside the premises. They also have toilets.

Nice spot on the ocean for refreshment and a break
