As others have said looks deserted. Owner isn’t here, woman said she doesn’t drink the water and not sure about electricity. We didn’t see hookups anywhere. Bathrooms disgusting. Kitchen run down pizza oven is caving in.
So much potential! Not staying!

Like others have described, still super beautiful. Our favorite was the third pool, which requires a tiny bit of climbing from the second pool but definitely worth it. We came here on a weekday and had the whole place to ourselves. Enjoy :)

As described. On street parking on a dead-end road. It’s a bummer because there’s a beautiful open empty field just down the street I wish I could park there.

Got there around 5pm on Saturday, most spots were taken. Found a flat spot at Elephant Head Trailhead with a rock fire ring. Great quiet spot with good views. Cows were scattered around but didn't bother us.

Don't go on the lake side for camping. A police officer came and told us to stay between the threes with blue mark for camping.

this spot is awesome. right on the river, the road is not busy so not really any road noise over night. super pretty spot, almost no trash!! there are a couple spots down here, so a few people could camp here without having to camp together. we stayed till almost 11am

After a long drive from Opuwo. This campsite was definitely an oasis and much needed. Clean and neat, we were the only campers for one night, stayed for 2. Showers and toilets open air which is great in the heat, hot water showers. Friendly staff, bar facilities and you can order fresh bread from the local lady. R200 p/p/p/n

I arrived just after 3PM so the archeological site was already closed. I decided to stay overnight and go in early next morning.

Across from the parking there is a little road going up the hill, you can camp up there to. It’s relatively flat and there is space enough for 2 or 3 vans.

Had a very quiet night.

Our campsite for the night. We struggled to find the official entrance to this hotel. Used back gate (doen’t look inviting at all). Just had a shower in the bathroom on loan. Not bad. Safe and secure we’ll be happy to stay here. Will dine in the restaurant. Reviews seem good enough.

We stopped here using the exact GPS coordinates. We searched everywhere. We asked at the TA convenience store, the trucker's convenience store, and the mechanical shop. They do not have dump service or fresh water. They did have them about 7 years ago but the lines collapsed and they decided not to replace them.

Estacionamento ao lado do rio, com árvores. Bem localizado. Pessoal das termas super gente boa. ofereceram água, tomada, banheiro, chuveiro, internet. Isso tudo na nossa chegada, final da tarde, onde nem iríamos mais acessar o balneário.

Great spots all along the road as you pull in the the left. Did see a lot of cow bones, not sure what that’s all about… absolutely great views of sunrise and sunset.
