correspondingentrance12 | Great place! Entered park paying $7 fee, then realized we wanted to stay. So returned to entrance gate and checked campground availability. We got a non-hookup site for $15. She charged $7 again for the day pass, then refunded initial. Nice to skip the online fees by just showing up, lots of sites here. $22 total for a night and amazingly blue and clear lake in the middle of the desert! Oh ya, look out for donkeys in the road! |

k.pickren821 | It’s a State Park in a National Forest. We asked the ranger and he told us we could stay in our van overnight if we left in the morning; he gave us his phone number and told us to call if anything was amiss. We invited him to join us for morning coffee. |

martino | it is quiet but very windy. not a great place. small, right at the side of the road. luckily not a busy road. if you don't need to be at the lower altitude I'd go somewhere else. |

chasing.vida | Drove by here today. Looked really nice and a good price for 20,000 pp with a pool. We didn’t stop because the three little dogs were extremely territorial when my (also small) dog got out of the car and started attacking. Maybe with some time everyone would have calmed down, but we didn’t risk it. Really close to the AstroSur obsveratory, too! |

chasing.vida | Welcome to Colombia’s most expensive campground! Save yourself the trouble of messaging or arriving here because Mario wanted 100,000 PER PERSON to camp in a campervan. So 200,000 for us. Insane. And this was after arriving, talking with an employee who called Mario for pricing. We waited for 15 minutes while he was on the phone, and no update. The employee ensured us it would be cheap… we decided not to risk it. Three hours later, Mario finally responded to a WhatsApp with that price. 😂 The neighbor down the street has a pool as well and costs 20,000 pp. Looks nice! |

chasing.vida | Drove this today in an AWD Ford Transit van. Dry conditions, totally fine. Some sections where there are bad ruts and having some clearance will help. The tunnels are funky and cool, and the bridge is a bit sketchy but solid at the same time 😅. No sign about the weight limit of the bridge, but it didn’t collapse with 4 tons of weight. Scenic and bumpy to Tatacoa. Great success! |

chasing.vida | Drove this today in an AWD Ford Transit van. Not high clearance, but not super low clearance either. Totally fine, but there are some deep rutted sections where you need to pick your line carefully. Dry conditions. Rainy might have been another story. Really beautiful “backroad” of sorts in this area. Nice and quiet and off the beaten path. |

kramer584 | Wonderful hot showers in day use parking area. Outdoor shower also available around the corner from the hot shower room. Stayed overnight in campground. First come, first served this time of year. Paid $25 at entry station for dry camping spot. 1-2 bars Verizon cell signal in area where I stayed, close to entry booth. |

musicalbandana74 | Excellent car wash by Mickey the owner. He's very happy and friendly, and speaks excellent English. Was 200 pesos to wash my filthy Tacoma, and its spotless. Can't recommend enough. It is tight though, no good for anything bigger than a full size truck, or maybe a smaller van |

Because I turned right | I’m here mid April so not too busy, water still turned off but has electricity. I’m guessing it works, I didn’t plug in. And has a dump! That’s always a bonus before leaving. Lots of green for the dog and a river path. |

delicatetrash01 | We found lots of places to park overnight on the street in this area near the Holiday Inn. We had a nice quiet night. The gutters in the street are a little bit low so we wound up propping ourselves up to stay level, but overall a great night, and we weren’t bothered! We are 29 foot long and had no issues. Just off the highway with easy access and in the neighbourhood of the fine arts museum. |

locasciog | Beautiful, quiet county campground on Lake Lenape near May’s Landing, NJ, about 30 mins from Atlantic City. Only one other camper here on a warm April night. The west campground side allows 2 vehicles per site; no restrictions on campervans. No trailers permitted. East side is tent only. Sites are enormous and well-kept with fire rings and picnic tables. Almost every site is directly on lake. |

dustycause23 | We drove from Mexico to Guatemala at around midday. The road block is still active. A bunch of locals stopped us and asked to search our bags and motorcycle, and see our passports. We asked if they were the police (they obviously were not), but they reiterated that they were instructed to check people and vehicles for “safety.” We showed them copies of our passports which sufficed. We opened one backpack and they did a quick check and moved on to feeling the other bags. After a few minutes they said we could pass. |

nastiasol | We failed here after trying the 3 others balnearios marked on IOverlander. Ariel welcomed us and he didn't know how to price us because it's 30 pesos from 8am to 8pm and 40 for the night. Finally we agreed on 120 pesos for 2 people, arrival around 4pm, departure before 10am. The small space was full of people when we arrived even though it was Monday. Loud music from all sides. At 7pm everyone had left and peace settled. No Telcel reception, no showers. There are toilets. We washed in the river. Lots of dogs on site, but no problem with ours. |

jatb28 | Large rest area with plenty of of space for even big rigs. The highway noise was minimal so very quiet all night. We didn’t see the “no overnight parking” signs that others posted about. There are some covered picnic/bbq spots and few trees but very little shade. 1-2 bars AT&T service. |
