For some reason the pin and GPS coordinates were wrong and lead me to a big privately owned pasture an hour away from Goose Pasture. Seems to be in the right place now but I would double check. it's near Monticello

Not the spot with the nicest views but still very nice, and indeed very easily accessible. A gaucho and his dogs passed by in the morning, bien amable.

Still no showers and this probably won't change. We asked how much the price was for a room; 24k, but it's Argentina so this can change tomorrow. We got to take a look in the room which was small but decent. Facilities seem a bit worn down, the entrance hall was a bit misleading. We didn't stay but fair enough price if you need your sulfur fix and don't have a shower in your rig.

This was a super great experience. They are Spanish teachers so they really meet you at your level of Spanish and we had an incredible time. We started at 5 but didn’t leave until 10 after playing games and spending time with their students who live in the house.

We felt super welcome. This one is also cheaper than the other cooking class in sucre. This one is 150/pp. We felt it was well worth it, they even sent us home with leftovers.

Intermittent road works still continuing and looks like for the foreseeable future.
Almost all the road was paved/ tarmac.

This place is ok. It is a dumping ground for all sorts of waste. Some men arrived in the night to dump a ton of construction waste directly into the river as well.

We definitely got some looks for sleeping there and cooking outside, but no one asked us to leave. We felt safe, but not our favorite spot we’ve stayed at.

Decent town market. We stocked up with fruit and vegetables. Discovered that prices are far cheaper in the Mercamio supermarket in Cali.

Then you can go to la reforma and Creel.
If you are adventurous, this is the way! Off road skills needed. From there, 9h if you go to urique

This is in front peoples homes on a skinny quiet neighborhood street. Don’t park your big ugly truck here.

Pretty good spot. Completely free on the weekends. Extremely close to all the fun stuff and the plaza. At 8am Monday morning we were asked to leave by some ladies saying this parking is privado.

Pretty cool. Worth it. Some unexpected stuff in there including mummies.

We were able to buy whole bean coffee for the first time in months after having to buy horrible Argentinian preground coffee.

Could not find this place. Perhaps the coordinates were wrong. We went to the Mercado campesino and found some.

We drove through here. Yes it was a mistake. Park outside and walk if you can.

We asked the lady outside and she said duchas were closed, but we inquired in one of the hotels on this strip and they let us shower 10/pp

The road is opened to 4 dispersed camping areas. Gorgeous and quiet. As described in the original post.

A large pullout with a view of Boulder at night. Large enough for a few RVs. There are no signs.

The showers (both male and female one) were only hot for about a minute, after that lukewarm, the wrong side of it. Doable, but not relaxing. Free with your ticket from the pump.

Everything as described. Very kind officers on the US side. Crossing needs less than one hour total.

Couple other vehicles here. On a small ridge just above the beautiful rocky shoreline. Beach access, fairly private. Road in is a bit rocky but we did it in a smaller vehicle just fine.

We've been here each time we were in Lahore. Service is efficient and prices are ok. 800 Pkr to wash, 600 pkr for 1 hour dryer. However, be careful of the 1 hour added to dry, I paid it, but it was wrong, the guy lied to me...

There is a water hydrant located at the Auto/RV pump closest to Hwy 412 entrance.

At about 9pm a guy came and asked for 120 MXN. We told him it's free here but he was very insistent. We said let us
call the police and clarify the situation. If we have to pay we will do it. The guy was so insistent that he first said if we call the police we will have to pay the police to come. Then he offered himself to talk to the police. He thought we were bluffing. In the end we called the local police. When he heard us talking to the police station he disappeared. A policecar showed up a few minutes later triggered by our call. We explained the situation. The officer told us it's free and safe but we should lock all doors and windows. Otherwise the place is as described.

Delicious fresh seafood. Excellent attention! We recommend almejas and carrito de tacos.

water is great. tastes good (though we also have a filter just in case), easy access. should be able to see it if you can see the home Depot across the park, but it isn't obvious.

decent size campground with space to accommodate about any size rv also right next to lake Robert so great fishing access!

You will go about 7 miles down a fairly rough road, but it's not too bad if you take it slow and it's absolutely worth it! Stunning views on the drive in and at the camp site. You'll reach the first official campsite on hwy 8 with the signage, but if you keep going and take a left down 376, you'll find the clearing which is much larger and more tucked away. This site is a huge clearing with multiple fire pits and a creek across the road. There is a sign marking this as an official campsite. Had the whole place to myself. No reception with AT&T.
