Gas station. Diesel and gasoline.
We were able to pay inside by card after refueling.
It’s seem to be a cardlock outside opening hours.

row of parking spaces behind old Wrigley gum mural. Very quiet. Small park across the street. beautiful sunrise view. would definitely come again. no services. but great for dry van camping.

As of late April the road to the Catwalks was flooded! The water wasn't extremely deep but we didn't want to risk it. This is probably just a result of the seasonal snowmelt, and hopefully will dry up soon

I camped at a spot further along, but confirming this area is still here and open for use. :)

This place is great! I would say good for small vans. NO TRAILERS! I have a Sprinter 170 2wd and it was tight. Fine getting up the road (dry conditions), but tight with the 170 in the camping area. I'd recommend driving in straight if you have a larger vehicle. There are many sites in this area, but definitely not all good for campers, many better for tenting. I had the most gorgeous view and only one other campervan (promaster) when I was there. Super quiet and would have stayed longer except on day 2 the wind picked up and the fine red dirt was flying everywhere so I moved onto Kodachrome State park for my 2nd night.

We arrived about 7:30 and found a quiet spot on the western edge of the gravel lot. There was distant highway noise but not bad at all. Big rigs parked in the more central part of the lot. Some off-road folks use the area so you want to watch out for where they are.

We stayed in the large gravel lot west of the Sinclair Station. Parked along the far west edge. It was peaceful and quiet. Nice for the dog.

Clean, modern workshop with helpful staff and reasonable prices. Changed oil, filter and got everything greased.

Quiet camping spot, only birds and hippo sounds. We weren’t as much impressed by the scenery as the other reviews though.

Aral Plaza ia directly at the lake. They have 8 large Yurts for tourist and a restaurant. A tall Ucell mobile antenne is working when the generator is on.

BE AWARE: the beach road looks good but we got stuck for 3 days!!! We advice you to only use the road from the entrance to the Aral Plaza and not take any other paths.
A night is euro 55,- and diner is euro 12,-
I am not sure if you must reserve on forehand.

We did only eat here. The food was good but the whole place has a cold atmosphere. The staff is unfriendly and at every question they make the $$ sign with their fingers. We did not sleep here and did not feel welcome.

We moved to the nearby Yurt Camp and they were wonderful. Some other travelers who helped us digging were allowed to sleep in their cars without any cost. They bought diner and that was enough.

We pulled up in our 7-meter, 3.5-meter-high 4x4 camper and were enchanted by this beautiful campground. The tree branches occasionally brushed against our vehicle. With stunning valley views and a magical cave nearby.

We were here with our MAN for minor work and service and maintenance. We were warmly welcomed by the whole team (Ruben, Pedro, Joao). Carlos, the manager, did everything to make us feel comfortable and much more. We can only warmly recommend this workshop for all overlanders with MAN. they did a fantastic job.

this spot is wonderful. the first pullout had three RV's parked so we drove up a couple hundred feet further and found a great spot for two vans.

Nice place next to some old house ruins. The views are beautiful and it’s really quiet.
There came only one friendly man in the morning who did some sports.
Not suitable for cars since the track up the hill is small and in bad condition.

Walked into the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager, he said we could stay in the car park no problem. We had a few beers and ate dinner, personally the restaurant wasn't a culinary highlight but we were grateful to have somewhere safe to park.

Food ranged from 7$ upto 15$ with some vegatarian options, large 75cl beer 3$. Okay WiFi in restaurant. I imagine the place would be loud until late at the weekend

They didn't have any pastries when I visited, only bread. On the food menu they have sandwiches, omlet and pancakes. We had sandwich and french fries, nice American style grilled cheese sandwich but french fry portion quite small. After our food I also bought 3 loafs of bread which made her very happy

Came to get a SIM card, the building was closed but loads of kids outside selling Sims, Lonestar (MTN) and Orange. One guy agreed 1000 LRD (5$) for SIM registration and some data, passport needed and they take a picture of you.

He only loaded 250mb of data and when I asked for more he said you need to buy it, at this point it was thunderstorming and I couldn't be bothered to argue for more data, I paid another 1000 for 6.5gb lasts 1 week. They transfer the credit and input the codes to get the data package

Police check with a gate over the road. Have to enter the building and show passports, they write details into a book and ask why we are there.

They have a quick look at our van and we are free to continue. The road is okay, smoothed mud some places we managed to get up to 45kph, traveling with Sprinter

We did not stay, as there is a big road contruction, they are putting in a new bridge, and use the area for storing sand etc. Noisy.

Track was graded and easy to drive, with any type of vehicle, maybe except for very low clearance big rigs. We liked this place even more than Cerro siete colores in Uspallata.
