Do not stay here. Our bikes were stolen off our racks, as were two other vehicles.
Police said that there are too many homeless creating theft problems in this location.

We sleept here with our Motorhome without problems. Some trucks are here but they where friendly.
It was quite during the night but at 5am they let run the engines and leave later.
Wifi (password inside the cafeteria) reach the parking lot.
The bathrooms are little bit run down.
I think YPF on the opposite side is better.

Beautiful place even in dry season, friendly locals. After à few hours a man came with receipt and ask for 25k. I m not opposite to pay something but i will be good if there is an official rule! Aniway here is this number, if someone else with no receipt ask you for money, he told me you can call him.610793362

I slept here in my van. Large lot. No shades. There were a few other overnighters. A bit of road noise but overall, a nice stay.

Fuimos a pedir dormir. Nos pidió $12 !!!Intentamos negociar y ella no bajaba de $10. No lo recomiendo, nos fuimos.

we went to ask to sleep. She asked us for $12!! we tried to negotiate and she wouldn't go below $10. I don't recommend, we left.

Good overnight stay. Glad to have electric, 20/30/50 amp. Cold, windy, rainy. Checked in with security at the door. Purchased our dinner at the cafe. Casino and bathrooms open 24 hours. Cafe 7am-1am. Close to road but quiets down at night. The parking lot has many security
cameras. Free.

Great Museum about the history of Nambia. Lot to see in an old style, but very interesting.

We camped in a transit connect the 2nd spot in. Looks like there are about 5 spots on this road. Spread out. Very quiet. Fire ring. One bar cell service on T-Mobile and Verizon. Great view. Very short drive from valley of fire west entrance

We were very glad that we took a taxi with 4 people we payed 50 euros+ entrance fee 500 pesos. Road is very rough and makes a lot of dust.
View is amazing! Best time from 3 to 5 pm

Last year you could do the walk at your own. Now only with guide. Without guide you are only allowed to see the viewpoint.

Amazing spot with a beautiful view! Can fit any size of rig. We can definitely recommend staying here.

Don't hesitate to take the stairs to this restaurant, you won't regret it. The owner is so kind and nice, the food is very good and the sightseeing is top!

Nice spacious campsite with all you need. Newly renovated ablutions. Very cheap compared to other campsites in the park; USD 20 pppn, they did not charge our kids. Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to campers, good food. Dinner USD 15pp, breakfast USD 10pp (you can take it to go, ours was really nice) and lunch USD 10pp. Nothing negative to say about this place, convenient and nice!

We tried this place after reading recent reviews. But when we got there we found “No Overnight RV parking” signs in the lot. They looked fresh and new.
We went in to ask if it was OK to park overnight and were told “Only guests of the Hotel can spend the night.”
So on the the next road side rest stop we went

Filling the water now. At the very end of the road. Free. You can attach your own hose.

kids in Massai clothing are throwing stones to cars. You have to drive this horribly bad road with lack of maintenance between some farmers with cows for 320 USD per day. The lack of respect of these Massai will be the undergoing of this area.

Stayed on a Saturday night and there were only 4 other rigs. Nice, quiet spot close to White Sands National Park. We got here at sunset so we took the first spot next to the pond. The gravel road was easy on the van and the spot was level. Noticed a smell only once, otherwise you would never know it was a wastewater evaporation pond. Looks pretty at sunset.

Hidden from the Highway, big flat area. Easy access. Good for one or more night.

As of January 1, 2024, there's now a $15/night fee. I didn't notice until I had checked in, but this area is designed for people with horses. There's a suggestion for another nearby site. There's only one other tent in the area so I'm not taking a horse spot.

This area seems nice with some sites having a fair bit of privacy. The sites have hitching posts, picnic tables, grills and poles with hooks.

Nice little hotel. Safe parking space for motorcycles. They have space for about 6 big motorcycles.
Cars can park across the street in the neighbours secure parking lot. No height restriction to enter.

Our matrimonial room was 20 USD. Very clean, good got showers. Wifi was ok.
They have a 24h-reception and stuff was friendly.
In this area there are a lot of local restaurants. It's about 2 km walk to the port. Safe area.

cuartel de bomberos voluntarios de Ahuachapan, ellos permiter quedarse en carpa o motorhome no muy grande, hay agua potable y es muy enriquecedor las charlas con los bomberos, le recomiendo pasar a visitarlos.

if you want to stay overnight with your car, they charge you 6500 pesos pp but you don't pay the parking fee.
bathroom, shower and potable water included.
you can also wildcamp for the night and just leave your car for the hike.
the mountains here are great!

I really loved the spot.
Has a few fire pits.
Some noise from the highway but the sound of running water totally compensates for that.
Was very easy to find.
I would stay again.

There is bus/rv parking in the back and overflow parking in the front. After dinner I asked if I could stay and they said, because they own the property, I am welcome for 24 hours and someone would be on site all night. Super close to I-95, either a blessing for easy access or a curse for noise, you decide.

Make sure you don't park a bigger vehicle in the WinCo parking lot, as they will ask you to leave. At least the guard was nice about it. The WinCo is open 24h, but the bathroom closes at 8p, so plan accordingly to your homes profile and bathroom setup.
