calmbull-fighter32 | It’s a nightclub in first line. I was searching for a place to pitch my tent and they offered me to put on the terrace right next to the pool. They asked me how much I would like to pay. I said 50.000 GNF and it was okay for them. The vibe was nice, but it’s loud till 3am. |

Hannah Y | Spent 2 nights by Holloman / Raptor Lake. 1st night stayed pretty close to the entrance as we arrived after sunset and it was dark. 2nd night felt emboldened to travel further down the gravel path because we walked it during the day. Several beautiful spots to stay with other rigs around. Also saw one of the most beautiful sunsets here. A great option so close to White Sands. A gentleman from the base did stop by, however, midday. Did not ask us to move but warned there were a lot of snakes around AND to avoid the water at all costs (I.e. especially for the dog) as it’s evap / runoff / sewage from the base. Be safe and enjoy! |

modestacoustics83 | Stayed here 1 night. 15,000pp for 24hours entry. Very windy but there are some spots against the hill on the left before you get to the top parking lot that were more sheltered for us. A few other campers and van people staying as well. Beautiful sunset & even got some snow in the morning! |

objectivevegetable88 | Great stop for RVs. Just check in with security and they’ll give you a permit. Park in the back lot that says “No Rvs”. After you get a permit, stop by the Membership desk and sign up for their free new member card. $20 food credit and $30 gambling credit for free. |

progressivestory-telling26 | fairly level, fuse of the water, decent cell coverage for Verizon, close enough to town, definitely go down the hill and walk along the shore. the train does come by but not a big deal. there is some traffic but that dies off after dark. I shared it with two other people. |

progressivestory-telling26 | there's a sign in this turnout that says no parking snow route. so I would imagine that probably gets removed once the season starts but as of April 28th you can't park here. |

2Cats&aCamper(YouTube) | Second time staying here after or before a border crossing. $600 MXN total for 2 people in a truck camper. It’s a nice spot if you like hot springs, and not much more $ than we’ve paid for a campground in San Felipe. Just be sure to time your stay with high tide. |
Puertecitos | 30.34976, -114.64052 | |
Wilma.TheWhale | There seems to be a recently finished trail to the wreck, I'm not sure if it's okay to use it for free as the campsite want to charge $30 for a guide to visit. We walked along the beach and coastal rocks to reach the shipwreck, the last section we had to use the trail as there was no other way. It's worth the journey - we didn't pay anything |

relatedroller97 | Stayed here one night, no problems at all. Few other trucks/boats with full camp set up. Next day we came back. We were the only ones and the DNR came by checked our plates and license. Said we could camp but then 2 hours later the sheriff came by and said camping wasn’t allowed. So we went to the rest stop. |

Manuel K | Military Checkpoint for Nationalpark permit.
Same rates as everywhere.
FYI: the road to Dhorpatan is bad. 2-wheeler or enough ground clearance is a must. If it's dry than 2WD with ground clearance might be possible. But 4WD recommended. Occasional puddles and water crossings (only one big, rest is short ones). Very bumpy with lots of small/medium gravel and often big stones in the dirt, also quite dusty, which makes traction sometimes fussy. |

kumukalaura | We had an ok stay. Lovely family, by all means but the parking lot is a mess of organic waste and cow dung, so had biting flies by day and loads of mosquitos at night. No shower or toilet to be had. Tough stay with 40 degrees but yeah, better than a military point layover. There's a nice clearing before the property, right on the river, that was cleaner and probably would've had fewer insects. Anyway, it is what it is. Again, nice people...because Iraqis are generally lovely ! |

nomad_iron_works | As described, amazing hotel. I got a room through booking.com for $9.60. It's definitely a great value since the quality of the room is not what you normally get for $10 in Ecuador.

edouard.herin | A random hostel but interesting for motorcycle travellers, we put our bikes in front of the hostel and it was very safe, also possible to put your bike in the garden of the hostel for the night if you prefer. Dorm was 14euros per person. Draft beer 100TL. Well located to visit historic center walking. |

ariellaverheul | beautiful camp on the river with amazing ablution block. Hot water 24/7. construction of restaurant and bar in progress. expected to finish july 2024. then you will have a stunning view over the river. on the camp you have your on lapa with water /sink, braai pit and picknick table, shade. camp is in the park so there will be wild life. When we were there, there was Hyena and an elephant, and soms blue ververt monkeys (they don't come close). the excellent staff brings you fire wood and puts on the fire in the night and early morning. Ishmael, who runs the camp, is a great host who goes all the way for you. ask him about a boatride or a if you are lucky, a dip between the rocks, near the rapids. please note camp is closed during rainy season. open approximatelt end of april until end of october. |
